Sadly more of an aspirational spirit animal than a corporeal form.
Stumbled across this. Not perhaps too much very new there, but I really enjoyed it and loved the guy's delivery. When he talked about how everyone is using the same presets and tools, it made me think of the advantage we have in ios with so many apps available to be combined in innumerable combinations without breaking the bank.
This was fascinating.
I'm waiting for the next review from Keen On Keys![:) :)](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)
"This is a short preview for my upcoming review of the Amstrad Fidelity CKX100, a keyboard from 1988. It has 7 demo songs included, but this is none of them. I made one on my own and combined it with the voice from the demo tape that was provided with the keyboard. I cheated a bit and sampled the some sounds and added delay and reverb. Because contrary to what the narrator wants us to know, the possibilities are not endless. So it wouldn't be possible to play this demo with just the CKX100 alone."
Started Ozark. It is good... but shows like this have a way of tainting my impressionable mind. Not sure I will continue.
For the last two nights - intense electrical storms...
Wow. Back up brother.![:) :)](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)
Lots of floods everywhere - including the local cafe/venue, now under several feet of water, and I’ve spent most of the evening running out into the storm, trying to stop the rain barrels here from overflowing by emptying them into a range of garden receptacles.
Aided and abetted by Asda’s finest budget cider.
The visuals were better last night - big storms in the distance, no thunder but one hell of a light show. Owls hooting, shooting stars etc.
Umbrella Academy was pretty good.
Was that a weird pun?![:) :)](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)
Do NOT stop watching Gus. Keeps getting better.
3 movies to watch: Jojo Rabitt, Doctor Sleep and a must see IMHO is Motherless Brooklyn.
We got the same thing upper Midwest near Chicago. Tore all kinds of shit up.
Glorious mess. No electricity.
You guys OK?
I just watched a sad hockey game, it was not good
No, I'm not that smart.
Thanks, yeah we’re on a bit of a slope here so the water goes downhill - off to survey the damage if there is any shortly. Ended up watching a Zappa Apostrophe (')/Over-Nite Sensation Classic Album documentary last night on Prime, which was good, and drowned out the storm noises.
I can hear rumbling again, so think we’re on for round 3 later. I’ve lived in this area for 30 years and never seen weather like this.
I am five eps in or so and it seems to have reached that nice cartoony threshold I required to not get too depressed given the subject matter. I like!
My goodness, haven’t heard of them. Will investigate!
“Zero Zero Zero” on Amazon Prime Video
It’s a superior modern day crime syndicate/mafia/cartel drama. An 8 episode limited series too ... though it’s been popular so who knows it they’ll extend it.
Worth your attention...
Comedy - “Norsemen” on Netflix is freaking hilarious. Such a good show. Season 3 just dropped a few weeks ago. I highly recommend it.
So I’ve heard, That’s another one in my que I’ve yet to start.
same in Manchester.. a nice touch of the tropics ( though i hate the heat ) 3 nights of dramatic ( by our standards anyway ) lightening but with little to NO thunder ,,, just the odd low rumble from the Scouseland direction... and that isn’t in itself unusual from the wingeing liverpudlians (sorry, couldn’t resist )![:) :)](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)
Have you been affected by the local lockdown thing? You've been a bit quiet, I thought they'd stuck you in the cupboard for safety reasons!
We had the weird thunderless lightning on Tuesday. I was out with the torch chucking slugs off my cabbages (that's my new thing, instead of making noises) and noticed what looked like an alien invasion on the horizon, over Ludlow way look. So then the boy and the missus, the cat, and half the neighbourhood came out to watch. Owls etc. and a meteor storm via the Pleididdlydoes.
Last night was a different cup of leaves though, properly scary loud banging thunder and lightning, and flash flooding. Even the slugs were freaked out!

not so much the ‘get indoors northerner!’ re-lockdown.. but some virus that may or may not have been Covid ( more likely not ) compounded by a massive and knitting Needle painful right ear infection that put me out of action for a coupl’a’weeks.. all done now... the sudden pop when retrieving Stereo sound finally was an waxy pus epiphany!!
Watching “thestockguy” on twitch.tv and it’s good!
Blimey, glad to hear it’s cleared up. Weirdly, coincidentally, I was totally deaf in my right ear when first reading this.
What is the title of this show?
“Progress” or “The Great Filter” ?
