@Audiomodern
Has anyone been able to successfully MIDI map the Reverse button in Riffer.
It’s the only one giving me issues atm. I have tried to assign it in different modes, as a Toggle / Momentary / Trigger and neither of these are working.
I can get the Reverse knob mapped in AUv3 format but not in the Standalone.
I've tried on iOS 12 & 13.
Has anyone managed it on iOS 14?
I guess I must be the only one MIDI mapping this app huh? lol
Anyway, for anybody who is interested. AudioModern confirmed the bug and will update soon.
I’m having trouble with Riffer not playing the first note Hosted in AUM. Even if I set a pre-roll of 1 bar, that first note doesn’t play. I think I see the problem. The last note of the sequence and the first note are the same and Tie notes is on. Is it by design that ties wrap around? I can understand this behavior from the 2nd to the 3rd pass etc., but it doesn’t seem logical in the first pass. @Audiomodern
Update 2.0 AU out tomorrow 😍.
Cool... but it's not the good thread
Sad, I was hoping we finally get an update for Audiomoderns riffer. Riffer has a known bug that makes the settings part of the plug in GUI pretty useless on gen. 9 iPads. This is known since February, but not fixed. My recent post in the Audiomodern forum asking for a fix did not even get a reply. Having said that I do love the Riffer standalone, but not happy how this bug is being handled.
I suffer from mild dyslexia and degraded vision so Riffler and Riffer look pretty similar to me
Whoops Monday morning my bad !
Both app's names are indeed very too close.
If I'm not misstaken Riffler (the Guitar thing) will get a significant price bump up when the AUv3 update drops.
Oh well, time will tell.
My eyes can no longer handle the Riffer (the other app) UI so it's off mi devices...
I've been using the riffler beta in Logic and it's pretty nuts when you combine it with Melodyne and create performances I could never play. Also just making super quick songs with Riffler and Drummer is hilarious. It's basically a stock music generator. Riffer for baselines would be amazing but no M1 compatibility
so I'll stick with ZOA for now.
