  • D1 has crashed for me a couple of times loaded in Aum.
    2018 ipad.
    Nothing else loaded.
Playing with a bluetooth connected controller, it just randomally crashes whilst I am playing.
Checked my bt connection by switching with Synthmaster ..no issues at all.
Kinda leaves me in the lurch whilst playing live.
    Anyone else had this issue?

Same thing here with the Korg Nanostudio

  • Will D1 be going universal ??

    I sure hope so!!

It would be helpful for the devs to know the hardware, OS version and situation in which you get the crashes.

    True.

    iPad Pro 2nd gen 12,9“ / ios 12.1.4
    Steinberg Ur22 mk2
Yamaha Digital Piano n100/ M-Audio Axiom 49 (the app crashes with either of these midi controllers)

The crashes occur while playing. It happens every 5 to 15 minutes.
I will try a complete reset tomorrow.

  • I’m just hopeful that the Jan/Feb timeframe quoted in their roadmap for auv3 support is still a go. Frankly, I’m getting too lazy to use most non-auv3 synths. D-1 is a true gem though.

Wow just seen the update. No not AUv3 yet - but the “send scales” function.

I’ve been dreaming of a world where apps can tell each other which key / scale to play in just like with Link. This could be the start of something beautiful ;)

And thanks for giving us early adopters the "Platinum Edition" with free future sound expansions 😀

  • Amazing Synth!!! Thanks so much!

  • I'm just flattered to be part of the Platinum Club.

@analog_matt - Where do I pickup my membership badge and how do I access the Platinum Lounge? Do I get my food and drinks comped too?

    😁

    Surprise! Surprise! 😊

Nice! Thank you very much AudioKit and @analog_matt !

  • In all the recent updates, they have made it clear in the description that they are working hard at implementing AUv3. It'll be ready when it is ready. They remark in the most recent update that a lot of AudioKit code has had to be reworked to make it AUv3 friendly. (This should also be a reminder to people that wonder why so many synths haven't been converted to AUv3).

  • So generous!

  • NOW, THATS a surprise— really appreciate it. We got it for the best price, manifested our trust into AudioKit and got now transported into the platinum club?! Amazing! Where did the badge go....? In case I want to see it again ;)

  • Congrats everyone! 🏆

If your copy of D1 qualifies, you should see "platinum edition" on the presets panel (after the last update).

  • Found it! Awesome! Thanks man! Really excited for D1s 2019!!! 👊🏼😎

  • @analog_matt I assume the 1.03 version of Synth One is not out yet as been looking for that TuneUp button but no joy!

  • edited February 2019

1.0.3 is in review as of the time of this post. It's been in review since 8am, which is rather odd. Not sure if Apple likes apps sharing tunings via "TuneUp" or not. 🤞

Bummer, mine doesn't qualify. Nonetheless, congrats to everyone in the Platinum Club! Enjoy your three new free presets!

edit: for some reason my app store is not updating (I'm on newest IOS) until often days late. I can force it to update by going to the developers page, choosing the app and then sometimes it'll give me the update option. It did it in this case, and I have the platinum badge... how cool to be part of the club!

  • Yeah, Platinum Club! Thank you, I love this synth.

  • Another happy member of the club, very nice gesture.

Now, I feel compelled to purchase more merch ...

  • A happy member of the platinum club says thank you  @analog_matt

  • Was glad to level up - what are the requirements for qualification out of curiosity?

  • Many thanks for the Platinum Edition @analog_matt !

But, if I’ll be getting all IAPs for free, then how can I continue to support the project? :)

The t-shirts are good quality. 😎

The stickers are delivered by carrier pigeon but get there in the end.

  • Thanks for asking. We've been getting a lot of emails from upset people feeling left out. If anyone bought D1 and it wasn't upgraded, it will be in the next update. And, if anyone reading is still on the fence about D1 – We're going to extend this upgrade until the end of the month.

That's very kind of you. The best way for folks to support AudioKit is to tell all your friends and post about Synth One, and D1. And, make music with our apps and other iOS apps.

For those who miss the window for the Platinum upgrade, future IAPs will be moderately priced at $1.99 to $3.99 each.

And, for those feeling extra generous, we do have a paypal: https://paypal.me/audiokit

However, the best way to support is to spread the word about AudioKit Synth One, so we can bring the joy of iOS music-making and synthesizers to everyone.

    Have a great weekend, everyone!

I'll be tucked away inside, working on AUv3 for D1. :)
