Apparently you can’t store customized chords.
I use Tonality app for that
Has anyone tried using KB-1 in Cubasis 3? I’m getting nothing from it. I’ve used the same settings in Cubasis 2 and it works fine. Any help would be appreciated.
So update this and the arp controls are a bit difficult to use. Also can anyone confirm that the variation is blank when you tap on it? All the others you can select...
Yeah, but I can't see why have the drop down on variation anyway. Maybe if it went up in 10's?
Yes I see.
Weird, KB-1 stops output completely if I by accident select the UP/DOWN2 arpeggio pattern...
...need to reload the plug-in to get the output back.
Oh well, I have other arpeggiators to mess around with
Yes this happened to me as well. But thought I was an idiot.
@Samu I have been in contact with the Dev and he verified this behavior. He has a fix in but wont come till after the holiday.
Cheers
Ah thanks - I was just about to ask about this - also had massive dsp spikes in AUM followed by loss of sound - looks promising though, nice update, i love a nice arp! Wasn’t expecting extra features to be added so late in the game, makes me happy when devs do this.
Thanks, a keyboard arp is always welcome!
@ka010 any chance of supporting Relative Slide as a setting/option? With the current Absolute Slide, you can’t play soft velocity notes (high y value) and at the same time introduce some gentle aftertouch sliding (it comes in full force due to the absolute high y value).

Good observation! Yes this would be a welcome addition
Does the new update solve the issues???
I’m still getting blank fields running through AUM with the “gate” and “variation” options.
Otherwise, an excellent update!
i think the fix was submitted to apple but they are shutdown until after christmas, looking forward to after xmas now ahaha
So there is a more recent update since yesterday then?
that’s what i’ve been told!
Would be nice to fix that, but there is already so much to love with KB-1!!!
I find the push layout cryptic. Please make a button where it opens up like Geo shred and all the others. This one is talented but makes my brain hurt
very cool. is it out now?
Sick!
@ka010 Thanks for the cool new features..👍 love the new pedal up/down arp as well as arp transpose..
wow! thanks Kai @ka010
The update now allows you to set cc controls as continuous dials, or “momentary/toggle” buttons.
Has anyone got this to work since the update? My first attempt in standalone, KB-1 crashed when changing to toggle. After a delete reinstall, I could set it without crashing, but I can’t get the cc controls to control anything in AUM. Tried standalone and AU. Seems like when I try midi learn in AUM, KB1 is sending a value of 123 regardless of what I have set. And even cc 123 won’t actually control anything.
Keyboards all work fine though.
If someone gets a chance, could you try to set and use the cc controls in the latest update of KB-1 just so I can eliminate possible user error on my part?
@ka010 : It crashes for me switching a dial from continuous to momentary as well in both the AU and standalone.
ow wow this things is powerful!! thanks
This app is well taken care of by kai! He’s awesome adding new features still and keeping it stable!!
The crashing when changing it from continuous to momentary was resolved by deleting and reinstalling it. The problem I'm having is that I can't actually get them to control anything at all. Doesn't matter how they're set. And when I try to midi-learn from KB-1 to AUM... AUM learns a cc of #123 instead of the cc 7 that I have set. And even if I set the cc to 123 and let AUM keep the 123 midi-learned setting... it still won't actually control anything.
One time I tried midi-learning to AUM, AUM changed the cc setting to a pc setting and filled in the #123 number again.
It's possible I'm doing something wrong, but I've used it a good deal in the past and have not had some much issue connecting the cc controls.
Have you fed the output to a MIDI monitor to see what it is sending?
