  • Thanks for running that test, I'm guessing this is the app and not something I'm missing. A quantize function would be essential really otherwise it doesn't take much to throw the whole lot off.

Am I right in thinking that there's no MIDI in? I was hoping to play some chords on a MIDI keyboard and have the repeat function trigger when keys are played but can't seem to get that running either.

Does it have a hold function? Just can’t find it..

Yes. That is what Latch does

  • Does anyone know if there’s a manual available? If not how configurable are the xy pads? Can you specify a cc for each axis?

Yes, you can set CC number and midi channel for each axis.
    I don't think there's a manual.

  • Thanks man …

  • Anyone using KB-1 in Cubasis? It seems it won’t affect live/played midi unless the transport is running. I have the same issue with Harmonicer. I’ve sent a support email to Kai re: Harmonicer but keen to see if others have this issue as well?

  • Is it just me or do the glide/slide options no longer work?

Everything is fine here. The default setting for the slide is CC 74; you can always set this for different values.

  • Can someone help how the chord memory works? No manual. only 18 pages here without luck

Looks like, you turn it on and play a chord, holding all the notes, maximum 3 notes. Then, play C and it will repeat the notes, possibly "uninverted". For example, I played A C E (Ami), then played C and got C E A (C6?). Play other notes and it will transpose this pattern. Pretty confusing unless you start with a C chord.

Both of these apps are good. Chordpolypad is faster/less fuss for simply achieving what you describe, IMO. Both have strum. Both are audio units, but chordpolypad can also be used standalone. Chordpad has more features.
