Well I didn't think I'd want a vertical strum bar but now it's there I'm finding it really helps for finger picking type playing. Great to have both options🙂
@charalew Awesome! Glad it’s working well.
Here outside the walls we among the great unwashed are much looking forward etc![:) :)](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)
@JohnnyGoodyear Great to hear! I really do plan on releasing soon; just some finishing touches
Is there a transpose function for the chords pad?
@chocobitz825 Yup you can either transpose individual pads or (in the AU) the whole pad set.

Quick poll for beta testers: does anyone put piano chords (as opposed to guitar chord charts) on the floating chord palette?
ah i see it now, thank you! excellent!
I've used both to be honest, but prefer piano chords as I'm trying to understand how they're made up.
Not yet, but I may be peculiar
I'm noticing that the palette used to hold chords shows the number of chords it held even if all are removed.
I'll take this as a reminder to actually use the palette, I keep forgetting![:# :#](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/grimace.png)
@enkaytee Okay cool - I was considering removing the option but as long as it has at least one user I’ll leave it
@Ailerom Thanks, fixing that now
@Krupa All good, you can also turn it off in settings
Yeah I use for both too
Beta testers:
Another big one for you! Let me know what you think. Some aspects of the UI still in progress.
on the choose the chord page for the chord pads, is there a way to change from piano to guitar chords? or is drag and drop from the main chord page best?
How do you add pads via the fret board?
I noticed that for c6, the most common guitar voicing isn’t found: c (5th string, 3rd fret), e (4th string, 2nd), a (3rd string, second), c (2nd string, 2st fret), e (1st string, open)
@chocobitz825 Not currently, but I can add it! Is this because you’d like to use preset voicings rather than entering one on the fretboard?
@espiegel123 Enter edit mode and select fretboard:

Noted. The reason is that the voicing you mention doesn’t contain G and is treated as Am instead. I can make the G in C6 omittable, but this might cause unexpected results elsewhere.
@TonalityApp I have lost midi functionality sending in AUM on the beta.
@Jumpercollins Can you turn off the strum bar and try?
@TonalityApp All working now user error apologies love that strum bar resizing by the way.
The strum bar solution is great. Thank you very much.
@TonalityApp - still testing but looking good so far. The GUI changes are an improvement - I like the unified interface and the scrolling in edit mode is much better. I'll feed back any issues asap...
@Jumpercollins No worries, relieved it's working
@Ailerom Welcome!
@enkaytee Great, thanks!
How many of you would be interested in a Mac version?
@TonalityApp Yes please.
I'm not sure I have the absolute latest beta, but as of a day or 2 ago I still had to open the interface window to view all pads before the midi mapping of the pads would would. Is that still on the to-do list?
thanks, Simon
@SimonSomeone Yup! Sorry I was going to get to it today and got sidetracked![:D :D](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/lol.png)
(Please ignore my crappy mic)
Thanks for the reply! Yes, it would help greatly to be able to select preset guitar voicings when necessary.
Would love to see this in Mac too!
