    O.M.G. 🙂

  • In the end the only thing this app will not be able to do will be a good italian “espresso”...

R U Serious?!!! This is IT! Please, Tell me it will be compatible with a keyboard controller/app!!!

  • So are kits exportable as a folder?

    Compress/ send?

Nice.. will love if a loop’s ‘key’ can be detected and the ability to transpose it to another key before slicing, etc.
Then, one can import almost any loop and tune it to a project’s key...

    Thanks..

i firmly believe that that’s what he’s removing the tempo knob for!!!!

It would be nice to be able to program more than 1 bar at a time. Many great funk drum rhythms are 4 or 8 bar patterns and very awkward to program one bar at a time and then string together later. 16 bars would be ideal. Midi import would be great too, I have a lot of great midi drum patterns I'd rather import than program. Having multiple bars would help with midi import too.

This is all I’m missing. Amazing app otherwise

Just tried two instances of this in AUM - one through Roxsyn, the other through Discord.

That’s a track right there. Very happy with this one.

    NO PICTURES NO GIRLFRIEND

No pictures, just noises. This is basically just two instances of Pulse through Roxsyn and Discord, recorded live in AUM. I smeared some ambient juice I had lying around on top via Soundforge, but this is pretty much just 2 x Pulses:

  • Sorry if already covered... What’s the export options? Ableton export would be the ultimate, love how Patterning has this. 🤞

  • @Artefact2001 I'll take a look at Ableton Live Export

More than anyone else hereabouts your stuff always makes me nervous about the contents of your head etc. Sincere compliment.

  • Fingers crossed for Ableton export

    That was CRAZY.

  • @ElliottGarage : I am enjoying pulse. Request: a slice option to split a sample into x number of equal slices instead of using transients. I am finding that would work better for many of the samples I am slicing.

  • +1 for Ableton Live Export please @ElliottGarage

Please please PLEASE. I would use this method 9 times out of 10 over transient detection.

@espiegel123 @DCJ that's already on my TODO list, don't worry ;) 2-4-8-16 equal parts ok?

Ok with me. But don't forget the option to choose where pad 1 is with lower left preferred by me...

This is especially important for the chromatic mode as it would feel weird if the notes went down for higher notes rather than up and the note order would not be ascending but descending making it feel super weird :D

As for equal size splits, it's nice but if the loop has some swing to it the slices could adapt to a swing setting?
(Ie. when adjusting the swing value the slice markers would move to match the swing value).

Yet another option would be to overlay a grid (with added swing) on the sample and add a 'snap to grid' option when adding slice points?

But yeah, it's getting out of scope since we're not talking about Ableton Simpler, Cubase Sampler track or Serato Sample :)

  • A Serato Sampler would be totally fine by me :)

  • Would be possible to create something as a repository for cloud kits as patterning? Or if not, can we arrange a share folder for kits?

  • Working on drumkit sharing :) Maybe I can add a 'community' section on www.elliottgarage.com
