Maybe I am doing something wrong, but it takes a lot of fiddling with its settings for me to get a meaningful readout (whereas the the fundamental scope required almost no fiddling).
I just tried the Full Scope module and that was pretty easy to get set up.
I’ll check the issue with audio stopping. I thought I had actually made a fix for this, maybe there are other situations I need to handle.
Yes, the Fundamental scope was the easiest to use. However I think the the scope from Submarine is pretty good, too. The only thing is that I think trigger is hardcoded to use input A, so you may get unexpected (different) results when using one input or another.
Also, I think I could change some parameter defaults if that would help.
Even knowing that input A is the trigger, i find that it takes a lot of fiddling to get that submarine scope's display right. If there are better defaults that would be great.
Full scope is better, but I find that for audio rate signals the time scale control doesn't zoom in as much as one would like.
I’m super happy with the tone from this guitar rig. I had to use Rooms! Convolver for cabinet sim, rather than the NYSHTI one due to it adding too much latency, but other than that it’s great, and all can be saved with AB state saving.
I’m just getting started with this little experiment. So far it’s very promising.
So can you post some screenshots of what you’re getting for your signal and what you’d like to see (maybe in the vcv scope on desktop or just an explanation)?
I noticed : I can't use my BT headphones in the night !
Load it up in a host.
I'll fix bluetooth output in the next update. Apparently it's possible but disabled by default if audio input is enabled for an app.
Sorry I can't reproduce this issue. Can you tell the exact steps that are causing the problem for you?
this isn't really an issue for my work flow but if you use Mirack standalone then pause audio, then use say safari when you go back to mirack the audio cannot be restarted.
Hey guys,
I made a new beta build to address two types of audio glitches:
If you're experiencing any of them, please try the new beta build 96 and let me know (send me a PM if you want to join beta to test this).
(I also still can't reproduce the issue with not being able to restart audio, weird...)
I PM a video of the audio stopping for you
Any chance of some midi out modules? I’d like to control some other synths with cv and gates generated in the app.
Eventually, sure. Sorry, it's a part of bigger work on improving MIDI support, I can't say for sure when that specific feature will be done. Currently I'm working on the ability to map hardware controls directly to virtual knobs.
Sweet, that will be awesome. Keep up the good work.
great.
I just bought this to use for creating "custom" effects for use with synths in AUM.
It seem's like there should be an amazing amount of diversity for sound shaping with an App like this.
It will take me a while to figure out what the certain modules do, how they can be used to modify sound, and how best to use them, etc....
But I think the "tinkering" aspect is part of the fun.
@mifki
Thanks for bringing this cool modular App to iOS!
Finally got this and It's a really good interface and workflow.
Unfortunately I'm having a lot of audio glitches.
I'm on ipad 6 and there's a lot of audio clicks with even just one OSC loaded.
The CPU meter is really low at like 10 - 15 % and I have the Audio buffer at the highest setting.
I ave also tried using it with an usb audio interface but with the same results (NI komplete 6).
Even restarting the device did't helped ...what could be the issue ? Anyone else with audio dropouts ?
The dev is aware of it:
Oww... ok cool.
Thanks, I missed that
What OS version? I have an iPad gen 6 with iOS 12.3.1 and don't have crackles except when running heavy patches.
I'm still on 11
I don't have an iPad Pro.....even with stylus....boy....this is rough for my eyes....
You know you can zoom, right?
The users still reporting glitches with the latest beta are on iOS 11 (correct me if I'm wrong)... unfortunately I do not have a device with this version. I'll get back to you as soon as I have any ideas.
Dean from Electronic Sounds got in on the video action exploring MiRack believe he is going to be running a series on using the app and getting into the basics.
@mifki he also mentions about a few audio problems with the app at the end of his video with the Cuts module and cc saving.
Oh that's awesome, thanks for letting me know!
Maybe upload a couple of patches that crackle in case it is related to something in the particular patches. Does it happen with all of the included examples?
It's an all around issue unfortunately, it happens even with a single VCO loaded.
To help out I will testflight some older betas this evening as suggested by mifki.
