+1!
I answered the questions about favourite module. Maybe it’s the groups settings.
Please! we re short of Filters... Would be great to have some different topologies and also a filter that can be "pinged"
Yeah, I like this guy’s tutorial videos. Just the right pace... doesn’t assume you already know everything, clear, no distractions.
Would love to see a shockwave video from him too, but I’ll definitely be going through all his mirack vids.
Why are you trying to join as a Community page? Switch back to your personal Facebook account and you should be able to join.
Nope, that’s only for family.
My artist page is complete cycle and I belong to plenty of groups with no issues.
So the admins may want to change their settings to match the others, or maybe not.
Cheers
I’m out of ideas then. Good luck.
Which is the best tutorial to start with right from scratch for beginner builders? Merry Christmas and thank you!
Group admins may not allow Pages to join their groups.
Fair enough, but a lot of artists use pages so the group could be missing out.
Never mind
;-)
Try Dean’s great series for beginners - he’s new to miRack and he’s sharing as he goes.. right from scratch..
Dean's video already relies on some knowledge about how a modular synth system works.
You might want to watch an introduction to (modular) sound synthesis first, otherwise you'll probably have a hard time to make any sense out of it.
It's a good idea to have some concept in mind before you start building, at least a certain sound and an idea of what kind of modules are worth considering at all.
Thank you both will do! Cheers!
I'm trying to get my OP-Z to control MiRack.
OP-Z is set to send clock out, and I'm patching the CLK-1 of a MIDI-1 block as clock - to no avail. I've managed to fake OP-Z clock using track 14 (module track) notes as gate/clock, but that's not really how I want to live my life.
Any clever ideas as to why my simplistic solution doesn't work, and better ways of syncing MiRack with other gear? Like getting the AUM clock into it?
Sorry if this has been covered earlier in the thread - searched but didn't find anything.
Just discovered Valley Audio Interzone module in miRack, which is a modular version of the SH101, very similar but more features than Malekklo Manther Growl which I had been eyeing for my fictional real world modular. It's freaking amazing. Was also considering a Behringer MS1, but not any more. Now I need to see if I can replicate wavefolding action like Pittsburgh modular Microvolt 3900.
@mifki Any plans for adding Valley Audio Dexter?
@auxmux I’ve actually got Dexter working recently, but there were some UI issues. I’ll fix them and make it available soon I hope.
Holy lord, this an angelic thread of magically thought out audio wave trips.
Test this tones....

Hey mate, thanks for sharing, but went something wrong? The zip file is 0 KB in filesize and seems corrupt!!?!
Try with zip!
Awesome, thanks!
Hmm, need to try this later, thanks!
Tried controlling miRack from Gadget, fun stuff.
ok wait...so i was just about to pull the trigger on this before I watched a video in this thread....so you really cant use it if you're not connected to the internet?? My Air2 is the wifi version and Im not always online, thats kinda sorta a bummer to hear.
I think that that is referring to the fact that the default patch storage is iCloud, but you can change that to use "On My iPad"
Very nice. Thanks for sharing! I’ve been following Electonicounds and SoundForMore tutorials to try to get my head around the basics. It’s fun to load up demos and other people’s patches too, not only study what they’ve done, but to hear what sounds miRack is capable of producing.
iPhone version?
ok thanks, ill grab it then.
Just by a coincidence... a build with iPhone support is now available to beta testers. Several people here asked for it, send me a message who wants to try it out and not a beta user.
Runs beautiful on an iPhone 7plus
Thanks so much for what you brought to us on iOS mifki
