confirming, beta looks fantastic .. testing in NS, found one small bug, reported to Mifki, he fixed it in almost no time, everything works smooth, it's great experience, to have possibility of multiple instances integrated inside daw is amazing ... this will be BIG step forward for miRack usability !
Now AU3 is on the way this compliments well with Drambo both in AUM
MULTI-TOUCH!!!
Is VCV rack learning from miRack it-is-possible-Iet's-do-it philosophy ?
Does the new AU3 do MIDI out? As an AU3 for audio is already going to be huge, but MIDI out (and dare one ask multi-audio) would make this enormous
For my purposes I think this is going to make an excellent pairing with Drambo.
Here is my holiday MI RACK video, bear with me here....https://youtu.be/2oQLSp0nFPI
MIDI out and multichannel audio will come separately. I know I promised them long time ago, but as I was also saying, I wanted to release stuff like AUv3 first so that I can work on smaller things without worrying I have a big uncertain task in front of me.
we appreciate all you do man! stoked about auv3
Top work!
Any beta testers that have the auv3 and Drambo can test if you can send CV from mirack into Drambo and vice versa ? Quite curious if this works.
Does the AUv3 state save everything in hosts?
hoping this goes to apple to review soon!’n
No worries. This is very cool.
What do you mean?
Exiting AUM with miRack... loading AUM again restore previous session. All is working like before the AUM exit without saving the session into a file.
didn't tested it with AUM but in NS everything saved, didn't experienced any issue with state saving yet.
State saving seems to work fine in AUM here.
Yes the patch is saved in the host state/project, so I wonder if @Carnbot meant something specific that should/shouldn't be saved?
No just checking saving worked along with the midi learned controls etc
Don’t have any hardware controllers to hand but reloading a patch with two controls midi mapped (using learn) from Rozeta LFO, reconnected everything perfectly.
Great, thanks for checking @Jocphone look forward to when it drops...
How is multitouch? Anyone of the testers noticed any issues?
I didn't really get what you meant by multitouch. Is it MPE or something to do with the UI?
probably lets you play a key and turn a knob at the same time on the screen, right now that doesnt work
Yes, in the UI. In the beta you can finally turn multiple knobs at once
that’s huge!!!! can’t wait !
Even though I bought mirack day one and have used it for only like 5 minutes (no fault of mifki, I'm just modular stupid), I am still very excited to see this become AUv3 and am totally amazed at what you've done here. So bravo!
@mifki Multi touch working fine here in all patches I’ve tried.
@mifki: the AU is working well.
I have a wish.. that there be a persistent option one can set to disable making cable connections. Too often, I accidentally disconnect a cable while trying to either scroll or turn a knob. With no undo , it can be troublesome re-wiring in a complex patch. My personal preference would be to have the ability to make wiring changes be off when opening existing patches with an easy way to turn them on.
You know about hiding cables in the tool menu?
