  • If my memory serves me well, the dev said the MIDI parameters exposure will be in a future update, right?

Great job @jimpavloff ! Like butter on my old Air 1. UI quite intuitive. If you’ve used Grooverider you’ll get this in no time. Already had it locked up to NS2 in AUM with no issues. Another brilliant app from Jim.

Is there a Help file or manual that I am overlooking? I am wondering if there is a way to record bass line filter parameter changes.

I don’t think it has parameter recording, though you can use the lfo to modulate filter. I think I’ve figured most everything out except for pattern chaining.. it’s probably right under my nose, yet just evading me for now. I usually skip manual and just go trial and error route but one would be nice to skim over ..

    I can’t say I like the clap

Me either. But a dose of antibiotics will clear that right up.

  • Is there a way to set the scale for the sequencer? I see you can set it in the composer but not when programming patterns normally. Or have I missed it?

So, hoping to dive in once done with work, but pattern chaining/song mode?

  • Opened up my iPad while waiting on my backup/format procedure on PC. Pure Acid is oooon!
    Having a blast already!
    THanks, Jim! B)

And is it me or is there a huge amount of compression on the 303? You can hear this when playing a pattern and then Solo the 303. The volume of the 303 increases significantly. Is there a way to adjust the compression amount, seems to be set a bit high for my liking. It seems to cut the lower bass frequencies when playing both 303 and drums together.

  • @jimpavloff.... Thank You Brother.. Excellent work!.. I don’t know why you don’t expand your programming talents on other formats, like MAC & PC.. You would make a killing out there.. Love this very much.. Like all your other apps.. You are a very gifted Dev.. Respect to ya!.. 👊💯

In the mixer section, above the master volume fader, just turn off the limiter. Lower the volume to avoid clipping.

That’s not what’s causing it. You still get a change in volume when the limiter is off. Sounds like some compression going on behind the scenes

Works smooth as butter on my old iPhone 6S

I didn’t even know it was universal till I read this.

  • Putting FAC Bandit and JAX Decimator in a effect chain with Pure Acid feeding nearly blew my headphones up !

Anyone figured out how to chain baseline patterns yet?

To chain patterns, just long press on first pattern then drag to next pattern(s). If you want to repeat a pattern several times, long press and turn the button on the left.

Does anyone know how to make the cuttoff or resonance evolve through time ?

  • Overall the emulation is pretty good, except the Accent which is not that great. I think the accent is wrong on a lot of emulations though, even Roland messed it up on their TB-3/TB-03

Edit: Question regarding chaining patterns, but it was answered and I didn't refresh the page!

Thanks! I would never have figured that out.

I found that long-press to repeat patterns isn’t right though. Long press removes the chaining. To increase the repeats just tap the pattern, not long press. 👍

  • @jimpavloff Many thanks for a great app, it’s great to have something that is great fun just to play with the workflow in this is fab, having a wonderful time tweaking !

  • Are the drums set only to 16 steps or am I being silly not finding it?

It seems only one chain is retained, like 1-2, 3-4, 5-6, but not all at the same time.
Could not find automation options yet

I’m just not getting the copy/paste order of steps for the drum sequencer patterns. Anyone?
