Thanks @robosardine, this explains why I couldn't find it

you can chain up to 12 patterns, and set number of repeats for each pattern ... here i have 3 patterns, where third is repeating twice.. just tap on first and last pattern in list to chain them - it's similiar like on Novation Circuit, perfectly optimalised for live jamming

considering fact that every pattern can have various lenght up to 32 steps, this gives serious posibilities..

and drum machine has independent chain ! very cool, i really like sequencer architecture, it's old good groovebox spirit

btw running Grooverider and PA together - LOT of fun !

Not that anyone needs any further evidence, but here’s some random fun... Love the several randomizing features, the many scales, and multiple skins including a customizable option.

Yep.. The Randomizer/Scaler feature is great.. Would be nice in GR-16.... with its PLock thingy.. and Auv3

  • @jimpavloff : I have run into a situation where I am running PA in AUM and start a preset playing and after 10 or 15 minutes the output suddenly becomes digital noise. In both of these cases, it was just a single pattern playing in the background. This has happened with background audio on and off. Stopping the pattern and starting again solves the problem.

    iPad gen 6. iOS 12.3.1

  • Ive had two total crashes. Air2 ios 12. I may need to update 🧐

You can also chain patterns in the drum sequencer in the same way. The only thing is, whenever I touch another pattern to edit it, the chaining has to be re-established.

In Pure Acid audio settings menu, Background Timer, try to set it to off and test with it. Strange, however.

Will do. Btw, I am loving the app.

  • Running no probs on air3 🤤 still wrapped up in the bass 🤤 haven’t even looked at the drum sequencer yet 😍

  • Crashed one time in AUM so far. But I used it mostly standalone.

  • Fantastic job on the knobs too. Super smooth and totally responsive 👍🏻

  • I am having a lot of fun using StepBud to control the filter in PureAcid and setting the StepBud sequence to an odd number of steps so that the filter movement is doesn't cycle the same way as the notes.

    Pure Fun.

Yeah, "Edit lock" button would be nice - if activated during playback, pattern where it was activated would stay active for editing even if other pattern is playing...

    There no song mode yet.
One thing I would say is that I could do with a longer delay option on the effects pedals.

Gotcha! A kind of song mode exists: you have to long press the first pattern and drag over the others. They turn to grey and the chain is created. Same with the drums. The only problem is that the loop is endless, but for me is enough by now. Discovered by pure chance, so a manual will be welcome.

Oh, man... I love this piece of art!

I dunno why, but I just LOVE this photo. I would totally have that as a poster in my man-cave if I had one.

Funny story about him... during a concert on that tour, Pete Townsend smashed the TB-303 onstage during the encores. John Entwistle was greatly relieved. 😆

Seriously? That makes that photo even more epic.

I think that’s pattern chain mode you are on there😺 which seems to be working for many. If you look back a bit in the thread someone mentioned how to set repeats for each step. I’ve not spent much time on the drums yet. I’m planning to let Rozeta xox and iELECTRIBE take care of that whilst I’m getting lost in a haze. I hadn’t even realised they can be chained separately.

Yes, I realized now and so I edited my post. Cheers

  • I don’t think I’ll be rushing out to buy a Berhinger TD-3 anytime soon 😮
Must go to bed. I’m so glad this app has been released.
    Thank you very much...... goodnight.

Oh no, sorry i was just kidding... based on the Who’s fondness for smashing stuff and Pete’s slightly perplexed look. Epic photo, though. What’s even more epic is the ability to carry a spot-on 303, 808, and 909 in your pocket. The holidays start now! 🤓

  • Tried even on my old iPhone 5s and it works perfectly @jimpavloff

Funny though. Actually, my first thought when I saw that was “I wonder what Entwistle thought of that thing.” :D

  • GOT IT

How the heck do I get a blank project?

Load the Init factory project (to be safe). Go to Main Menu (hamburger in upper right). Go to Utilities. Select Init Current Preset. Save it so you can easily load it in the future.

  • This thing is tight !! Hope this make y’all 😃

  • Dirty.. Funky.. S-e-x-y.. love the sounds emanating from this machine..
    thank you @jimpavloff

My first thought was "That's why Keith Moon died so young!"
You see... "Drum Machines killed the Stadium Star".

  • Great app! Wish that the clap was not so Single :)....I would like to be able to midi learn also the Pitch in the sequencer

  • iPhone 6s iOS 13.2.2
Saw wave stopped working after a while. Even when flipping through presets, in those with saw, only the drums were audible.

    This only happened once.

  • Each time when the octaves are changed a root note is inserted ( on a blank pattern)....if shift-delete that note, it brings back the 0 Octave. I guess it's a note reference to start a desired melody...
