Press copy, select the pattern to be copied. Select the destination pattern and press copy again (the display will show PST)
Choose source pattern, hit Copy (changes color), choose destination pattern, hit Copy.
It’s workin’ great at buffer = 128 in Audiobus on my iPad Air 2, iOS 12.3.1. No crackles. CPU about 45 %.
Had a quick 15 minute go on my iPhone 11 pro earlier. Amazing app! No crackles here.

I love how super fast and easy it is to create variations in patterns with all the editing modes. Looking forward to the AUV3 version to record parameter movement — but there’s plenty to keep occupied for now.
The only thing ya got to watch out for is the undo doesn’t work like some might expect— if you don’t save pattern first, undu just clears entire pattern instead of reverting to the prior state before last change. I’ve lost a couple great patterns due to intentional and unintentionally hitting it...just gotta save often.

@jimpavloff Drum patterns are numbered 1-12. When you hit Init the numbers are offset. For instance, Pattern 1 is referred to as Pattern 0 in the warning pop up. A little confusing.
Just got back home. Had a quick play, looks and sounds amazing! Better than I was hoping for! Just great... a total joy. This has to be the most instantly gratifying music app ever?

Sounds crackles on Optimal setting and at 128. Is fine at 256 and above.
Can I make a couple of feature requests...
1) Scale mode on the keyboard
2) Export MIDI files
3) Silver knob option
4) Is there some compression going on behind the scenes. There is a definite volume increase on the Bassline when Solo’d. Would be good if we could control the amount of compression.

As for the compression - there is no any compression except the master comp/limiter. Turn it off. If you still hear it - either your iOS device speaker driver does it, or you having an illusions ))

Sigh... this takes me back to those days I never owned a 303... and now I do! Screw those days!!
I never got into the Roland Drum Machines but I owned a Roland Keyboard and nothing
sound quite as good as Rolands bass. So, I figured I'd try this app to see if I get that Roland
Sonic glow. I also consider Jim's Poisson-202 to be a great sound sythn for that specific synth sound... So, I got it and it's Pure (Gold etched with) Acid (engravings). Get it while and reward
one of the best IOS Programmers for his efforts. You will find uses for it.
NOTE: No AUv3 yet. So, get over that and find way to sync it up using the plumbing tools we all should own too: AudioBus 3.
Is there a way to scroll/queue up presets in this as you can in GrooveRider -- where you can use arrows to get to next/previous preset with the change happening when the current pattern completes?

It's really good emulation. Really really close to real thing... hard to say without direct compare but it is probably better than audiorealism bassline... @jimpavloff you did amazing job ! Also sequencer is more fun than i expected, really cool features for getting quickly interesting basslines and the experiment with variations ... dropped 5* review !
Can't wait to compare it with Behringer 303 when it drops, it's preordered :-)

@jimpavloff : on iPad Gen 6 iOS 12.3.1, no crackles with optimal buffer size standalone or in AUM (where AUM's buffer is 256).
I was surprised to not see that there, but then again, it starts and stops with the host, and when it goes AUv3, Link won’t be needed at all.
So, unless you’re using totally it standalone, Link Start/Stop isn’t needed.
Fair point wim, start/stop not a biggie but I find it useful as i do use apps in standalone sometimes with my PC DAW, midi out is more important to me.
Is the drum machine also gonna be AuV3 ???
There’s only one thing better than Pure Acid, and that’s two Pure Acids on two iPads- totally brilliant fun. Who need Jean Michelle Jarres Eon when you’ve got this?😀 Once I get out of the clouds I might have to get round to adding some vocal samples or something... but probably not for a while yet.
If you haven’t noticed it yet- head off to the Master part of the MFX and press on Bassline, this lets you select and twiddle two of your favourite knobs at the top by using the XY pad.
To those who didn’t want to buy this app because they weren’t into Acid House I would say- please think again, you are missing out on a ton of fun. This isn’t only for Acid- it will be a great addition to any EDM or Techno styles. There is so much Jim Has added to this than a bare bones 303. It really is a masterpiece.

Not that anyone needs any further evidence, but here’s some random fun... Love the several randomizing features, the many scales, and multiple skins including a customizable option.
I’m really getting a lot of fun with PA, but where is the song mode? Probably I’m getting old, but I can’t find it... anyway, awesome, awesome app!
There no song mode yet.
One thing I would say is that I could do with a longer delay option on the effects pedals.

I don’t know, but I was thinking that it is a pity that the drum machine and pattern are tied together to the same pattern. Maybe separate AUv3s would be good.
