Yeah, I like it
Same bug here. If I whack up the distortion the audio breaks up, but what seems to completely crash the bassline every time is if I touch the hi pass filter while the distortion is up.
Mini 5, iPadOS 13.2.2. Buffer 512 or Optimal. Background timer 10 mins.
Don't know if it helps but iOS/iPadOS13.2.3 is out...
Are you doing it under AUM?
Ok, please try to set Background timer to off, and try again.
Strange however, not a single time I experienced this with Distortion knobs
Amazing app ! Would be great if at one point there will be a Midi Out option for the sequencer, I would love to drive other synths with this sequencer
Holy clown... just noticed the “render audio” option in the Pure Acid’s Utilities menu in settings. Exports one loop of whatever settings are at. If just drums are wanted, turning down volume on bass will achieve that, or vice versa. (I had been doing IAA with Koala, and trying the record a sync’d loop... was imprecise and slow. The rendering and exporting directly to Koala means one can have up to 64 loops to play on a keyboard while running them thru Koala’s krazy fx. The possumbilities! The mind boggles... 😄).
(Edit: posted this in other PA thread that was closed for the winter).
Anyone else getting audio glitches in standalone mode ? I’m running air 3
I’m using Air1.. sweet as a nut.. But I cannot update to iOS 13.. Still on latest ios12.. As shes (Air 1) is now an old girl...
Despite having no natural affinity for Acid House, I am enjoying this app quite a bit. Maybe all the fun is in the making for me. Two questions:
I am able to automate the various bass parameters (step edit), but am not having any luck with the drum parameters. I assume that this can be done, yes?
How does one chain patterns?
To chain patterns, long press on a pattern and then swipe right to include any patterns that you want in the chain. You can then long tap on a pattern in the chain until a dash appears in the LED display and use the dial to dial in the number of repeats for that pattern.

Thanks so much!
Pure happiness. I haven’t had this fun with an app since I don’t know when.
😀😀😀
Just updated to iOS 13.2.3 on iPhone 6S.
Had an awesome session. No problems at all. The sound is amazing.
Very helpful - thanks.
You probably wouldn't get the slides with other synths, if that's what you're after. They're accomplished internally and almost certainly the app wouldn't try to send pitch-bend messages that would be useful in other apps.
You can accomplish much the same thing with any sequencer set to mono / portamento / glide, then sending overlapping notes (end of one note overlaps the beginning of the next).
@tja: AB forum Chief Cat Herder.
fingers crossed, i love to trigger my modular with this sequencer.
Funny, I'm not fond of the sequencer at all. I especially don't like that if you decide a note in the middle should be held longer you have to lengthen it, then delete the steps it pushed out. I also don't like that you can only chain patterns in order. I'd like to be able to make a variable chain that jumps around in the order.
Maybe I just don't get it that well.
The VAR, REV, and COMP options are excellent though.
Couldn’t help myself! @wim is not wrong! 😆
@jimpavloff , yes running in AUM. Just tried with background timer off with the same results ....
thanks
Having fun pairing these 2.
Always nice to have a sequencer which isn't the norm and has it own ways, means you get different results and hence why feeding the sequence into other machines is desirable even if not all the data is translated.
I like the sequencer and find it a lot of fun.
Can you write down exact sequence of actions which 100 % lead to this glitch? Or is it happen randomly after certain number of different actions, unpredictably?
Load and run patch in AUM
Turn Distortion to 10 or more
Lower HP filter
Guaranteed bassline crash every time
