Is there any alternative to Eventide Pitch plugin? (I may habe already :-))

There is some crossover with Discord4 by Audio Damage.

Are you guys satisfied with the mangledverb. Don’t feel the need for it yet ;)

I don't feel the need for it either. You can try putting a modulated reverb that you already have through some distortion and filtering and modulate that too? If that kind of thing is your happy place, then maybe their algorithm's worth it to you - they're very good at what they do, those Eventide folks.

  • Gestrument Pro is still on sale. $4.99 from $14.99 is a great discount.

Mazetools Soniface will be going on sale on cyber Monday and they are working on an update including Audiobus and Auv3 support and other new features

No kidding? That would be great.

  • Anyone, other Black Fridays there's always a lot of Black Friday prices for IAP of audio apps. Didn't see any this year... or maybe missed something. If anybody knows special prized IAPs that still are availble let me know.

All the Korg IAPs are 50% off, as are the Ampify/Novation stuff, if that’s your bag.

    AD Discord 4.

TB Reverb is quite flexible (listen to a few demos) but maybe not a 1:1 replacement. Eventide apps somehow manage to offer lots of power with only a few simple knobs while TB plugins have many detailed adjustments.

    I need a Gladstone.

I’m undecided about Lisbon and Vancouver. You all like these?

Would love the newer chip tune ones but might hold off.

  • Vancouver is great. About as close to a Volca Sample as you’ll get in Gadget. Lisbon only if you make heavy EDM I think. @jakoB_haQ did a great Vancouver tutorial. Will post later when I’m free.

  • I like Lisbon a lot. If you’re in sci-fi things you can’t loose it.

  • Thanks @ExAsperis99 and @Faland
I’m gonna do this and call it quits until Drambo.

I find neither Lisbon nor Vancouver essential, but it really depends on which other gadgets you have.
Bilbao is better for drum samples, even acoustic drums, and the best is Stockholm but you need ReCycle or Reason Lite to create your own REX loops which can just be a chain of drum or percussion samples too. That's how I've built my multi-velocity acoustic drum kit.

  • It’s totally worth it! I’ve been making presets like crazy and totally stable in the latest IOS.
Just control how much the herd moves and it will make your presets sound more stable if thats what you want.

To me im really enjoying it and hope the dev makes it AU someday.

Bought it in a reflex and as I liked the screenshots and description.

But then noticed that last update was 4 years ago and that is it even non-AudioBus...
    Just as information

Yah its great for downtempo lo-sci-zip-zop

  • I’m probably in the minority but I like Vancouver a lot, I like using my sample fodder with it

  • Sincere Thanks for the listings @BitterGums

  • iMPC Pro2 ipad & iphone here.

  • Not sure if I’m going to make it to cyber Monday, getting weak here... must soldier on
So many apps so little time :p

Audio Damage Discord 4 > Micropitch. Just personal preference but Micropitch was way too subtle for me. I do really like the MangledVerb tho, perfect for industrial skronk.

Thank you @Häxanäx and @rs2000 for your feedback/replies you saved me some good 20€ ;)
Never really got down with D4 except after I created my (back then first and only AU available) shimmer reverb. But now... may be the thing i was looking for.
Guitar into Multitap into D4 into blackhole for some soundscape, ambient drone music... we will see when I have time to dig in. Thanks guys!

  • xequence 2 is now on sale for 11.99, very tempting at this price.

  • Jump on it head first 😳

    In

  • Ugh, just when I thought I was out...

  • Xequence 2 has always been tempting just because the dev is so active here and so many folks are fans, but it's not really clear to me what it would give me that I can't get already by sequencing external apps/hardware in NS2.

  • Damn I missed Tardigrain.

  • Very tempting, but I have Xequence 1 and rarely use it. When it first arrived, some said X2 was almost identical to X1. Opinions?

Doing some last minute shopping now. Still got 20€ in my account.

My general preferences are well made simple stand alone groove boxes, experimental instruments you can get lost in and modular stuff.

Maybe I could get some input on those:

AUM - I know it’s a forum favorite, but tbh ApeMatrix works for me to connect apps which is what I mainly do. Still, it looks a lot more intuitive tho
I’m not sure if that justifies to buy it

miRack - also a fan favorite, but I already got VCV Rack on my laptop and a bunch of modular apps on my iPad already. On the other hand I like the slightly tactile feel of the iPad.

Shoom - that looks great as a dreamy just get lost in thingy. I love Spacecraft for example. Could Shoom be my jam?

Bleass and FM304 may be some cool standalone machines? Yay or nay?

Or should I just wait for Drambo instead?

    You should get Pure Acid.

  • I believe iBassist just went on sale. Might be propagating across countries right now...
