Is the FM Tines library in Pure Synth the same as in the stand alone app? Any reason to have both?
IMPULSation from the Gospel musicians is on sale for $4.99 (5.49€). Best deal yet
@Poppadocrock was faster... hahah...
I am interested in both and have additional question: Are both of these app true v2? PureSynth have "2" in logo on screenshot, FM Tines not, but both app in history version start with 2.x.x. On the other hand there is no "v2" in the names of the app in appstore. I wonder also if apps will be released in the future separately as new apps - v2 or maybe even as v3, like current Bassalicious v2 and NeoSoulKeys v2.
Edit: I found answer about Pure Synth:
"Pure Synth Platinum version 1 was a desktop UVI product. iOS users wouldn't know, but technically it's Pure Synth Platinum Version 2."
Reslice vs. Segments? If I already have Samplr and Sector do I need either one?
That’s the regular price.
It isn't a one or the other kind of thing. Reslice has some cool features (like its "arpeggiator" which is much more than that and very worthwhile for messing with grooves) that don't have an analog in Segments and vice versa.
A quick example of how the arpeggiator can be used for some regroovification:

I’ve just had an accident with my iPad Pro. 😩
I was in the App Store when my finger slipped and “accidentally” tapped the power button two times.
I now own the tb-dualvcf filter! 😂
Happy accident
I can't tell you how many times I've done that... and I can't tell my wife either because she ain't buy-in' it. Thankfully, she doesn't;t know about refunds. So... enjoy.
If you prefer Auv3 get either or both.
I don’t own SeGments yet. Compares to Reslice It has multiout. Pitch shift time stretch.
Reslice has arp with pitch.
lol 😆
Same here. I fell over with my iPad and when I got up I'd accidentally bought Woodulator and 2 Bleass apps.
So I guess it’s not Woodulator but woodunow.
... I’ll see myself out.
Recommend Poseidon highly. Amazing synth, es for $7.99.

All Gospel Musicians apps are on sale now.
Cubasis 3 50% off
Oh wow, thanks! Can I ask you 2 questions?
1- If I already have NanoStudio 2 and GarageBand, what will I gain with Cubasis 3?
2- Cubasis 2 is half the price of Cubasis 3. Is it better to buy Cubasis 3 at 32$ or Cubasis 2 at 18$ (CAD prices)?
Thanks
Just took the risk and got Woodstepper; absolutely bonkers APP. Love it immediately
Awaiting your video walkthrough 👻@shinyisshiny
Cubasis 2 & 3 discounted...
Bassalicious 2 (on sale now) or Agonizer for dirt/industrial/experimental bass noises - but not wub?
Agonizer is only iPadOS.
Bassalicious 2 is universal.
1) It’s worth that price, no question. But whether you gain something over NS2 or GB, it’s subjective IMO. It’s rather a question of your workflow, your taste. What you can definitely gain over NS2 are the audio tracks and the IAA feature. The question is whether you need these.
I suggest to watch some videos about CB3. For example this:

2) CB2 or CB3? I would go for CB3, it’s the current version, you will get future (feature) updates only for this. However as of now I don’t see too much difference between the 2 versions for a hobby user like me.
@jolico : thanks. I’m iPad all the way, so that’s not a problem, it’s more which is the most flexible sonically for messing with, I’m thinking exposed parameters for MIDILFOs tweaking, basic richness of the oscillator models, versatility.
@GLacey if you are happy with GarageBand then maybe cb3 is not essential. Personally i just never liked GB , I found the interface slow to work with while CB3 is really nice , i find it much faster to work with and most things are accessed from one screen
Hi!.
My wallet is bleeding. I’m out of control.
Impulsation or Drafknar ?. If functionality wise they’re the same, Impulsation looks 1000 times better, the ui makes sense... I’ll use to load guitar cab IRS. Or won’t use it at all, who knows.
Cubasis 3 is iOS 13+ so not an option for older devices. IIRC Cubasis 2 isn’t entirely stable on iOS 13+ though maybe that has been resolved? (I’m on C2 / iPad Mini 2 - might be about to change...)
iFX Rack IAP also 10$ -> 4$
