  • Cubasis 2 is iPad only.

    Cubasis 3 works on iPhone too.

  • Any news if DDMF stereo compressor is going to be on sale? Been wanting this for a long time but whilst I don't doubt it's worth full price it would be much nicer in the sale. :)

    I am pretty sure, waiting myself. He states on his website, that BF will be affecting the DDMF products and store and so I think (as i has been last year) AppStore also. Fingers crossed though because the stereo comp is not one year old isn’t it?

  • So i am also one of those who is waiting for DDMF. However, rn I am eyeing neo soul keys 2 I mainly have been making retro synthwave based music however I come from a hip hop background and have been holding off on this synth because I’m not sure how it would be in my recent genre workflow, but at the sale price, it’s worth it to try.
    The only bleass I don’t have is the chorus, reverb and delay. At this point maybe I should just get them all, but I really don’t need another reverb or delay, or then again maybe i do. Lol
    Any recommendations for someone who makes downtempo synthwavey electronica (I think that’s what I make, I really can’t put myself in a box)

  • Waiting for ddmf stereo too

    Is the FM Tines library in Pure Synth the same as in the stand alone app? Any reason to have both?

    Just bought Pure Synth and from what I see it is not the same.

    FM Tines description from appstore - app price 6$

    • 109 Presets
    • 105 Sounds
    • 4371 Samples
    • 5,2 GB samples (3,2 GB lossless)

    IAP "FM Tines" in Pure Synth descripion from this link - IAP price: 5$

    • 220 Presets
    • 377 Sounds
    • Sample Library Size 30GB (18GB Lossless)
    • Download Size 10GB

    While the space on the iPad or an external SSD is not a problem, it seems that it's better to buy IAP (better quality) for Pure Synth, interface of FM Tines and Pure Synth is in 99% identical. But on the other hand maybe smaller samples from the original app will not be as heavy for the iPad. I have the same dilemma what to choose, any hint from other users? :)

    PS. Question about crossgrade: https://crossgrade.puresynth.net/
    Will IAP "BASSalicious 2" be unlocked in Pure Synth after buying BASSalicious 2 app and apply crossgrade button in Pure Synth? If not we have simmilar situation, maybe better buy only IAP in Pure Synth? (IAP 5$ vs app 7$) Samples weight is the same in BASSalicious 2 (1,6 GB) and in IAP BASSalicious 2 (1,6 GB).

    Sessionband Jazz 4 (6$ -> 2$)
    Sessionband Jazz Fusion - IAP (10$ -> 2$)
    Sessionband Soul Jazz Funk 1 - IAP (10$ -> 2$)
    Sessionband Soul Jazz Funk 2 - IAP (10$ -> 2$)

    I only have IMPULSation so I can’t compare but it works well with Ownhammer cabs and Lexicon and Bricasti reverbs. The key is organizing your files and presets logically and making sure you always save presets 100% wet 0% dry.

    If you own an iFX Rack, can you see IMPULSation inside iFX Rack after purchasing the native IMPULSation app? (native cost 5$, IMPULSation IAP from iFX Rack cost 7$)

    Here is the latest on the DDMF website;

    November 19th, 2020: Envelope v1.1.1 has been released, with the whole internal engine rewritten from single (32 bit) to double (64 bit) audio precision, for even more clarity in your mixes. Now it’s slowly but surely time to start the countdown until BLACK FRIDAY: from coming Friday (that’s next week… the 27th!) all the way until the evening of the following (Cyber-)monday (the 30th), prices here at your trusted DDMF store will drop by 40 percent! This is one of the rare occasions to grab some of those fine audio plugins at a reduced price… so make sure to come back for the sale of the year!

    Fingers crossed IOS is included!

    There are a few bundle deals but only for desk top and not IOS.

  • At the moment I am trying to make reggae and dub reggae

    Would the neo soul studio 2 be a good choice ?
    Or what other options are there for the type of sounds I am after ?

    Cubasis 3 50% off

    Oh wow, thanks! Can I ask you 2 questions?

    1- If I already have NanoStudio 2 and GarageBand, what will I gain with Cubasis 3?
    2- Cubasis 2 is half the price of Cubasis 3. Is it better to buy Cubasis 3 at 32$ or Cubasis 2 at 18$ (CAD prices)?

    Thanks

    Cubasis 3 is iOS 13+ so not an option for older devices. IIRC Cubasis 2 isn’t entirely stable on iOS 13+ though maybe that has been resolved? (I’m on C2 / iPad Mini 2 - might be about to change...)

    Cubasis LE3 is free with 13.99 for “full feature” option. Is this option just without the effects plug ins?
    I suppose one could go this route and just use one of many plug ins we already have.
    Am I reading this correctly?

    I may be biased... but for that I would go for Galileo 2

    Check with others before. I only briefly used Neo Soul Studio in the best, which I thought is awesome for Electric Piano but not organs

  • @senhorlampada
    Thanks
    I picked that up recently during the last sale
    I am happy with it, but just kinda keen to buy another app, haven’t brought anything yet during the sales
    Feeling left out
    But thank you for your input

    I am also interested in the answer. There is a description in the upgrade option in LE:
    "Unlock Cubasis LE with all the features of the full Cubasis version for great price!"
    So it should be everything, for me "all" means "all", so why is the 10$ difference in price? (14$ vs 24$)

    Table comparing features between 3 and 3 LE: https://new.steinberg.net/cubasis/compare-editions
    The question is: Will the "LE" column be equal to the "3" column in the table after purchasing the IAP "Cubasis full feature set" in LE?

  • Apesofts are ok sale... MOOD, yes or no? Looks dope but not sure, how’s the cpu?

  • All apesoft apps 50% off

  • All Amazing Noises apps discounted too

    1. LE 3 has no AUv3 support, you'll need the unlock
    2. Yes, unlocked LE 3 equals Cubasis 3 full version except for the icon and welcome screen.

    "You own a hardware device which comes bundled with Cubasis LE? Great! Simply download Cubasis LE and connect your hardware to your iPhone or iPad to unlock the app from demo mode. Yes, it's that easy."

    LE requires hardware to unlock it from demo mode, which can then be upgraded for a price. It's simlar to the old LE versions coming on a CD when you buy an audio interface.

    Qualifying hardware is listed at the bottom of this page:
    https://new.steinberg.net/cubasis/le/

    Oh, here's the catch. In other words, if I buy IAP, I will have the full version but all the time in the DEMO (30 min) version. It's all clear now why is that 10$ difference. Thanks a lot for that info.

    @bigcatrik: Do you know if just need to connect once and then can be used with any hardware forever or every launch of the app need to use that specific hardware from the list to unlock? (There are no such details on the website. The same as after reinstalling the app, probably also need to be connected the first time to unlock DEMO again)

    Add me to the inquiring minds wanting to know. I’ve been flirting with CB3 for awhile now. Skipped the last sale but wouldnt skip it for $14.

    Please note what @bigcatrik wrote. Do you have the right hardware to unlock the DEMO? I don't have any from this list :)

    Pretty good on cpu, above average, raw analog sound, as the name implies Mood, is like a Moog emulation, but not exactly. It’s intended to be similar but not the same. I like it but don’t use it as much as I should. Random patch creator is cool. For $4.99 it’s a good buy.

  • Electric Vintage or Audiokit Mark or Neo Soul Keys 2? With some space and cpu usage in mind? I need an SSD. Any opinions?

    I have both Electric vintage and House MK1 and I would go with Electric Vintage, just my preference but I find it most inspiring with plenty of adjustable parameters. Effects are great too.
