  • Does anyone know if Klevgrand apps will go on sale? Haven't seen one for some time now. I have most of their apps but would love to get Spinn.

Electric Vintage or Audiokit Mark or Neo Soul Keys 2? With some space and cpu usage in mind? I need an SSD. Any opinions?

I have both Electric vintage and House MK1 and I would go with Electric Vintage, just my preference but I find it most inspiring with plenty of adjustable parameters. Effects are great too.

Cheers. That’s the way I was leaning. Thanks.

NSK2 I hear is amazing, but large on storage and memory does anybody know the total amount of storage NeoSoulKeys Studio 2 takes up. Is it around 3.2GB?

Apesofts are ok sale... MOOD, yes or no? Looks dope but not sure, how’s the cpu?

Pretty good on cpu, above average, raw analog sound, as the name implies Mood, is like a Moog emulation, but not exactly. It’s intended to be similar but not the same. I like it but don’t use it as much as I should. Random patch creator is cool. For $4.99 it’s a good buy.

    Oh nice thanks for that.
I’m pretty good on CPU usually, I have a air 3, so really no issues that often. Just some times it appears I have a habit at having a lot going on and then slowly cut out sounds and stuff, so because of my own fault I’ll run into a CPU issue.

I would think of looking into a at home cloud storage unit, haven’t heard many people mention this, they are pricey but, essentially would work, right?
In other hands I have been looking at different external hard drives and connectors, haven’t found one to float my boat. But I’m like 70 gbs/256. I just over think everything.
I’m still in questioning about things but I Hope this helps lol
I love the MARK 1, I’d pick that up, the cpu has not gave me any issues.

@bigcatrik: Do you know if just need to connect once and then can be used with any hardware forever or every launch of the app need to use that specific hardware from the list to unlock? (There are no such details on the website. The same as after reinstalling the app, probably also need to be connected the first time to unlock DEMO again)

Don't know. But I'd be leery of having to "daisy chain" an important app like a DAW, particularly with OS/iPad upgrades. Just seems like it will break somewhere down the line.

All NeoSoulKeys Studio 2 sounds take 8,4 GB, but the files are divided into 26 parts, it is not necessary to download all parts at once, you can download just one to play some patches. IAP - Mark VII take 1,5 GB (probably one part).

At the moment I am trying to make reggae and dub reggae
So sounds like the Hammond and electric organ etc is what I am after
Would the neo soul studio 2 be a good choice ?
Or what other options are there for the type of sounds I am after ?
    Any help would be appreciated
    Thanks in advance

I may be biased... but for that I would go for Galileo 2

Check with others before. I only briefly used Neo Soul Studio in the best, which I thought is awesome for Electric Piano but not organs

    I thought the same.
You want organs, not EPs, so Galileo 2.

  • @CracklePot
    Thanks
Will have to spend more time with Galileo 2, glad I have already got it.
Organs will be my way forward, being a hobist every day is a school day for me

This is NSK2 full with the new MarkVII

For the memory, we can’t pretend it’s low CPU.. but sounds so good :) Most of time, I record my EP track and I freeze the track if I’m happy with it. It saves me from unpleasant surprises.

I've never had perfect stability with iOS romplers.

Thanks for sharing. I have Pure Synth P and love it, sounds great, but it’s a little heavy on storage and cpu. I’m weighing some options, i appreciate the input.

  • Nice all the Pure synth expansions on sale
Usually it’s always just the apps
Bought all the remaining ones I hadn’t gotten yet!

Cheers. Yea I knew you can keep and remove packs as you like, but was curious about that total. Knowing me I’d like to keep more sounds on then off, so that info helps. Thanks.

  • Thanks @Weareroses I’m a classic over thinker as well, lol. I’m not sure about that working or not, financially not an option for me, but an interesting idea.

  • Anyone tried this? Thoughts?

    Hey @ruggedsmooth,
I bought Pure Synth + IAP "FM Tines" beacuse of better samples (19 GB) and more presets (220 vs 109) than in standalone FM Tines. I am interested in BASSalicious2 as well. Do you recommend standalone BASSalicious 2 or IAP - BASSalicious 2 in PureSynth? I wonder is any advantage of standalone vs IAP (e.g. more CPU friendly or more features, but I think that interface is 99% the same). In both samples take 1,6 GB and is probably the same amount of presets.

Do you think / did you try this: after buy standalone BASSalicious 2, both IAP (bass1 and bass2) in PureSynth can be unlocked for free according to this -> https://crossgrade.puresynth.net ? I'm not sure if crossgrade concern only desktop app or iOS as well (here at the botom GM mention about desktop https://bassalicious.puresynth.net)

This synth is, in one word, insane.
Check youtube videos for what kind of unbelievable weirdness people manage to get out of it.

  • Anyone know the sizes of the Pure Synth Platinum IAP’s - Upright Piano $1.99 and Suitcase $1.99

    Quick question...
    Are the IAPs all presets?
Or do I have to unlock anything functional beyond the initial purchase?

This $2 purchase is the only one that extends on its functionality. Fun but not mandatory.

  • Not really a sale price, but a good opportunity. In 2 hours I will draw a random name from the comments section to win a code for Woodulator for iOS. My channel is small so the odds are great.
