I expected Poseidon on iOS to be somewhat comparable to its desktop equivalent but you cannot even import or process your own samples to begin with. 🙄

You can import and process samples from Audioshare, but only in the standalone I think. It’s the plus icon lower left.
The AU version could do with more work though.

Oh! Time to give it another try.
    Thanks!

    Reslice by Virsyn

    £6.99 down from £14.99

My favorite of virysin products. Lots of fun

    Wow!

    Excellent!!!

    What are everyone's favorite apps???

Please don't say "All of them!"

I have all except flanger, chorus and shimmer as I have those areas well covered.

The ones I have are so quick and easy to use that they’re my go to insert effects. They look a bit crude when you first open them but they’re perfectly designed for a touch ui (some of the best ui music apps IMO)

Alpha is an excellent synth too. Versatile and easy to get good sounds out of.

I see Woodman's apps like brillant aventure games. 😁
I really like the IU and the "puzzles" are so deep that when you finally "get the key", the new horizon that opens in front of your ears is just fabulous !

I’m really trying to control my app spending this year!

It’s Auv3 so it works on both Aum and Cubasis3
    I don’t own SeGments so I can’t compare.

ReSlice is like Rex player with an Arp includes a Randomizer. So it’s for quick vocal chops or rebreak a drum loop

  • I don't know what is the deal, but AppSliced is probably not exact :)

    in Europe IAPs are currently for 4$ / 2$ + taxes :|

Mention: maybe taxes can't be see in small amounts, but for example Hammond B3-X in USA AppStore cost 129.99$, while in Poland AppStore cost 629,99 PLN, which is 167.00$, which mean 28,5% more expensive final apps prices, ehh

It’s a trap. You’d still have no idea what the thing does but you’d be able to make the most kick-ass waffles this side of Bruges.

On second thought, not a trap at all.

You can also open sounds into Poseidon via “Open In”

I like many VirSyn apps (effects and synths) but Poseidon is not one that I love. I may not have spent enough time with it however.

Now, while I don’t have Nave, I would doubt that they would be super similar. Poseidon is more of an additive synth than a wavetable. I believe that it analyzes the partials of the analyzed sound and stores those rather than slicing the sound into a series of single-cycle waveforms.

Loves me some TB but sometimes you just want simple and effective. BLEASS apps are perfect for that.
