Please tell me why or why I shouldn't buy Loop Builder!
As someone who is always checking out this forum, I've never seen it. Now, I certainly could use a dedicated looper for various ambient samples, with 16 different loops available. My issue is, I don't see many opinions as I search for them... And I want to know if MIDI can trigger anything on the page... Developer certainly isn't very detailed... Says it has Ableton Link...
Anyone verify yea or nay? Thanks in advance!
I should stop checking this thread, because I have (almost) everything on sale so far. 😭
Apps Anonymous here I come.
AA is definitely going to see a new clientele in the future ..
I know nothing of these, but... Here they be
i bought egoist, thanks for all the good info dudes!!
so far i am having fun with it, a great work environment with a different approach to getting results, i like that and need that other wise everything i make ends up the same 😎
i’m having a hard time not making it sound choppy at lower bpms 80-97 but the swing function helps.
imma watch some videos on it and hopefully can find ways to add ratcheting and stuff to the slicer and drums, if possible.
@Gavinski do you have an egoist vid?
I don’t believe he does, but could be wrong?
I want to get at least one midi sequencer I’m leaning Theyses? Any thoughts or opinions?
drambo 😎
Quincy is kinda fun for the visuals... if you’re into the whole game of life thing. I wouldn’t plan on making anything worth listening to though. Although you folks often surprise me!
Borderlands is super cool. Great price!
I don't even have Egoist, maybe worth checking out though. I got Thesys recently, like it a lot
How can you possibly say no to that intro screen?!?!?!>
Thesys and Drambo don't have much in common.
While Drambo has mainly a groovebox style sequencer, Thesys is more on the experimental, mathematical, tweaker's side. I would use Drambo to compose music and Thesys to get some inspiration when I have enough time to fiddle with its many controls but I'm lacking inspiration.
For me, Thesys is to sequencers what a large modular is to synthesizers.
Speaking of sequencers, Step Poly Arp is usually thought of as an arp, but is also a kick ass sequencer with some excellent modulation features, and very intuitive with a great interface
Not sure if it is or will go on sale tho
Does anyone know if the Korg Vancouver gadget can now sample live audio?
Word. I actually have it, but haven’t dug super deep into it yet, and forgot about sequencing midi in Drambo. I need to watch some videos, there’s several good tutorials out there. Thanks.
For whoever missed the recent sale, lots of Kai Aras app prices just dropped: https://appsliced.co/apps/dev/kai-aras
Guess it's finally time for me to pick up KB-1 Keyboard Suite
I don't need it, but MM-1 MuteMaster looks so fun for a quick jam setup. Does anyone here get a lot of use out of it?
40% off everything here. they have sound packs for continua and a couple other ios synths i think
prices don’t reflect until you add to cart

I see they have fallen into the classic mistake of calling Continua a wavetable synth though 😂
Ahh, Shockwave at last...
@orchid : I have MM1, use it a lot. If you are careful with it, in combination with Art Kerns’s MIDILFO’s (like the LFOs in BramBos Rozetta Suite on steroids), you can use it to plug a lot of the missing AUM automation functionality. (I probably need to set up a proper LK/AUM template, but, oh, if only @j_liljedahl would implement fader and pot automation in AUM.)
I use MIDILFOs to handle automated channel volume fades and switching (Enable On/Off) for individual apps, and MM1 to structure the overall mix, and to introduce variability. It’s really very cool, and quite easy to get your head round.
Dunno if he’s on here but Adam Hardyman on Youtube uses it in all his videos, says it’s his app of the year
Thanks for the headsup! I think I will catch me a NOIR 1 Pack 👍🏼
Anyone knows if Laurent Colson will join? Step poly arp, chordpolypad etc
lol ya didn’t even see that
no problem! they seem like great sounds for 10$!
I don’t use it
for Kontakt users !
up to %70 off
at Karanyi Sounds -great sound quality + unique packs-
Liam use their packs a lot
Not likely judging from Appsliced history. He did raise the price in October though.
The only 2 apesoft/Amazing Noises things I don't have are Stria and Sparkle - do I need them?
EDIT: I watched the redskylullaby Sparkle video
EDIT 2: I watched the @Gavinski video! Jesus, mate - just brilliant stuff!
Man, that manual was a slog but it was worth it! Stria is a very unique instrument
There are a few app creators that I feel are genuine geniuses and the guys over at Apesoft are definitely amongst them. Igor who makes Fieldscaper as another. They take such incredibly complex scientific approaches to sound and use them to make genuinely beautiful things possible.
