Guess we'll see more deals on Monday as Black Friday has been a bit lack-luster...
Argh I “can’t believe” they put the SWAM instruments bundle up for sale. It only just came out and I paid for the privilege to have it prior to now. /s
This is a great deal.
Can someone convince me which MDE I should buy? I read somewhere that MDE stereo recently got an update for a setting that allows it to operate more similar to the original. If you’re getting just one would Stereo be the way to go? If you have both, are you using both or have have you gravitated to a particular one? Please don’t convince me to get both 😭 I’m not even sure I’ve ever actually been able to hear what a compressor does unless it is using extreme settings lol
@Obo, thanks for thinking of me. I actually have it but have forgotten about it. The Shakuhachi, as I recall, is interesting cause different keys set off breath sounds, little trills, etc. Annoying to just play straight ahead, but very expressive if you learn the details. I will revisit it!
I think this has been asked earlier in the thread. I can't find the answer right now but I think the consensus was that the stereo one is the way to go.
i went for stereo, it’s newer, shineyer and has more parameters.
I went with the old one. Did an A/B and couldn’t tell the difference. My ears and speakers may not be up to much though...
I have to lock myself in a safe place without access to Internet and a credit card
OBXD and OPL are on sale for $3.99 each and the Bundle is still live! If you have any of this developers apps (those 2 + Oscilloscope, Schroeder Reverb) check the bundle you might get the rest free or very cheap...

What did you A/B against?
Last year, if I recall correctly, there were only a few holdouts for cyber Monday. There will probably be some more price drops, but not too many. But The end of December is the second best app buying week of the year for sales, behind this week of course.
SilEQ is on sale usually $5.99 now $1.99. - no Au though, no update in 4 years.
GuitarCapo+ also by Tonapps, is $1.99 down from $5.99 - cool app but not updates in 5 years.

Symphony Pro went down again, just $1 this time to $11.99

Still showing as £69.99 here in the UK store

Duhhhh lol
Sorry, nvm
I have a similar question, except I'm more interested in which MDE compressor is the easiest to use, as I am not a power user at all on the mixing/mastering end . I don't want to get the stereo one if it is a lot more complicated than NYCompressor for example.
If less features = easier to use. MDE
Which MDE though? There are 2.

Old one vs Stereo.
I succumbed and will do the same and report back.
I do not have either yet, but From what I can tell, it seems like almost everyone in the forum is recommending the MDE stereo version especially since the price points are so close with the current sale. Apparently they do sound similar though, so I don’t know...
Best hot sauce in the world! 50% off for one more hour. Free shipping!
(I bought 8 bottles...)

I bought MDE stereo, but from what I gather from what I’ve read the MDE stereo is aimed more towards mastering and using it on the master channel and the original for individual tracks but I’m kinda thinking you can use it for mastering if you want too.
I might bite the bullet and get the original to see.
The one is MDE (MagicDeathEye)
The other is MDES (MagicDeathEyeStereo)
MDES has more features, but that doesn’t necessarily make it more difficult to use.
Really glad I saw this! Fell in love with this after it was mentioned on another thread and I really like the samples on this. I'm not someone with a huge sample library, but I find these to be really live and warm sounding. Picked up a 5 IAPs for less than the normal price for the indie bass!
Thanks @Charlesalbert
i love hot sauce. just got some HAB sauce! with the aesop rock art!

Which app is this ?
