    Audic sounds interesting.

Sadly, it has a 5 Euro "PRO" IAP, but i see no hint about what that is about or what the normal version is lacking.

If you have twisted wave then you can export any audio as mp3. If you’re looking for getting the video into audio, that maybe able to be done with screen recording and then into AudioShare.

Cubasis 3 still on Sale until 7th December - I have V2 already, is it worth upgrading?

    I’m wondering the same

What are you missing in V2?

That’s the thing . Not entirely sure . CB has become my main daw so I’m thinking maybe it’s best to up grade. Grouping tracks isn’t really important to me, so I was just wondering if CB3 was more stable ? I still get the odd glitch with some apps and wondering if that’s still the case with CB3.

Steinberg say they did a complete re-write of the app so expect fixes as much as new glitches.

    🙂

So I caved in and bought CB3! Liking it so far. Yes, I've noticed a few glitches but overall running smoothly and seems a bit more speedy than CB2.

Thanks for letting me know .. think I’m going to have to get it too now .. faster is better😁

I got a response for an Apple store review for Cubasis 3 and a guy names Lars (already quite famous on this forum) wrote, that an update will arrive in a few weeks, that should improve stability (so much needed). If anyone is still hesitating about staying on older platform CB2.

    Hi @israelite,

Lars mention that an update will arrive in a few weeks that should improve stability to CB2 or CB3? (my understanding is CB2 but want to make sure). Thanks.

That would be weird. I really hope it's Cubasis 3, why would it be for 2?

  • No one mentioned MixBox?. It’s the elephant in the room for me.
Introduction price. Looks like a real beast.

I've found this info about price:

MixBox CS is now available on the App Store for an introductory price of $39.99 USD (regular $59.99 USD). Users who register their MixBox CS with IK Multimedia will receive an additional collection of Signature presets.

I have my reservations expeessed in this thread
MixBox - Big Players coming to iOS. Happy or scared?.
That thread was meant as a discussion but I guess I’m the only one interested 🤓
    I’m gonna get it now.

I know that CB3 need bugs repair, but my understanding this sentence is: "If anyone is still hesitating about staying on older platform CB2" then do not worry, there will be an CB2 update. I interpreted it as CB2, but my english sucks, so I just wanted to make sure :) If the sentence would be like this: "If anyone still hesitates to buy the newer version" then for me is clear than update arrive for CB3.

Now I see that review concern CB3 so in this case update concern probably CB3. Anyway users who bought CB2 also deserve for an update, at least in terms of continuous compatibility with new iOS versions :)

ps. I also wondering what to buy now, CB2 or CB3.

  • Not sure if already mentioned, but I got these last week and they're great!

Do we just Paypal SoI $2.99 and mention the presets? I didn't see them in the Zeeon IAP store.

Yes, it’s a bit funny I guess, but just click the PayPal link, it will open in your PayPal if you log in. Then there is an option to add a message. Leave your email in the message and you’ll swiftly get a reply from him!

We’re definitely not the same area code then, as I am on whiskey time now 😁

I find the GeoSWAM wind instruments--all of them--to be more expressive than the cello and violin models.

Expression isn't the only deciding factor. I love the sound of oboe for example, but I have never had a use for it in my music and can't see that happening.

I like layering the GeoSWAMs with another mpe synth. The modeled sound brings humanity to the synth it’s layered with via the expessivity of the modeled patches.

  • Hey everybody. I bought the upgrade to Transcribe+ per recommendation on this thread.
When I start a track I get the message that my free 45 seconds is up.
Anybody know how to contact the developer?
I went to app support and didn’t get a link to contact anyone.

Use the hamburger menu to get the settings, then scroll down. It took me a bit, too. The dev is super responsive though.

  • An app called MusiKraken has been out for a few weeks but I don’t remember anyone mentioning it. It’s usually $9.99 but dropped to $6.99 for a special introductory period.

MusiKraken is an Experimental Midi Controller Construction Kit. It supports core-midi, and midi over WiFi (Idam) I haven’t tried it but it looks pretty interesting.

Thanks @Liquidmantis. What a super user friendly app.
The separate tracks get a bit phasey but it doesn’t mess with the way I use it.
    Easily worth full price.

Very versatile bank of presets! Showcasing Zeeons synthesis power. Didn’t realize the fatness of bass it can produce until I got that bank 🥩🦛🎵

What are the regular prices for the IAPs?

  • I can’t remember if these have been listed here but K-Devices apps are on sale.

  • Sooo, since cubasis is on sale, what would you say is better about cubasis vs zenbeats?

(There's just something about the overall "haptics" of zenbeats that make it feel so "heavy" and cumbersome to use... it's not that it lacks any features I need but compared to other apps like aum, using AUM just... feels better. And, I guess, music's all about feeling :D so I thought maybe I should also give another daw a try...)
