I find LaunchPad app so amazing but AU is lacking and, or multi-out… but the Key Transpose feature sets it apart.. hope this get it…nice

Here're are a couple of tidbits

Custom track gestures (configured per colour group - tap, 2-finger tap, swipe, swipe up, down left or right, long swipe, long swipe up, down, left or right):

Track follow actions (configured per-track), including an amplitude envelope for doing things like sidechain compression or manipulating an effect parameter, or sending amplitude out via MIDI CC for external visualisations/etc:

Multitrack session recording:

Just two items left on my "public beta" todo list (plus whatever outstanding bugs the alpha testers have found recently), then the next wave of beta testing will commence. Can't wait!

You don't need to. The meaning of "public beta" is that the link to join will be made public.

Will it be compatible only to newest IOS? How about backwards compatibility? I have IPod 5/6 with old IOS but its fine for mini-pocket size looping :-)

I remember like a year after the iPad came out I went in a store to look at it. I just opened it and did all the multi tap gestures one by one, two fingers, 3 fingers, 4, all directions. Nothing happened. I just shook my head and walked away…”why?”…

Here we are over 10 years later and it’s still on the table. Baffling to me. Nice to see you’re utilizing that idea. This app is gonna whip so much ass.

I really can't wait for this, just one question will Loopy pro be able to record 2 loops at the same time?
Say I want to record a guitar part and something I am singing at the same time but on 2 different tracks, so I can start and stop them individually later or overdub them differently

If it takes 3-6 months to add this as a new feature, this would be bad. If it takes a couple weeks it would be very nice... (1) arm N tracks (2) hit record start/stop.

Seems pretty basic...I'd be surprised if multitrack looping was not already implemented... Sub mix routing would be cool...channels 1-6 on loop 1, channel 7-8 on loop 2...

I am doing my research!. It’s just that it’s badly documented. Maybe a need a Mozaic implant on my nipple for parameter mapping.

I registered just to get me on this discussion. :P I tried so many hardware looper in the last couple of years but sold all of them eventually. I really find it hard to integrate them in a meaningful way. Tracks, MIDI functionality, tempo, effects etc. In my opinion there is a severe lack in the market for a stable multitrack looper that can be put as AU into AUM. I tried some of the apps already but all were just not there yet.. today I found this discussion and yeah please release this beast soon! I will pay in a heartbeat

I have yet to read through all these messages but I really hope for something like this:

I have 4 input devices, I want to record them on four tracks 1 track for each device. I would like to be able to select groups of loops for every track to overdub or add to.. aand I have to be able to send rec / undo / next loop etc. with a midi foot pedal and/or a normal MIDI controller because I am a guitar guy...^^ This would be killer on Ipad.. my setup would be so damn small

What kind of input devices? What kind of interface to connect them to the iPad? That is a bigger (or at least more expensive) question to get out of the way than the capabilities of the looper. There are already iOS loopers that can do what you describe (Group the Loop comes to mind as closely matching what you describe), and a foot pedal is no problem either.

iOS devices can only have one audio interface active at a time. So, for four inputs you'll need a class compliant audio interface with at least that many inputs. Midi input would be good too, but isn't necessarily needed, especially with a foot pedal like an iRig Blueboard that works over Bluetooth.

That's not to say that Loopy Pro won't be the best looper when it comes (because I expect it will be) - just sayin' there are other things to consider.
