    Not sure - I keep getting on and off the fence. I was on this morning, then off when I read good feedback on here, but now on again after the dev confirmed iP6 issues - so nothing to do with computer kit or software, but network/routers, and since mine is old it could be an issue.

    Hopefully the sale will remain until the issues have been sorted. If he doesn’t fix it soon I’ll have spent this months pocket money on the EG sampler.

    Seems the iP6 change happened with the new update - a bit daft if there’s no performance improvement, particularly if it’s now causing issues with older routers.

  • so i just bought this app, was very excited but havent been so frusterated in a long time! Have been trying for the last hour to get it connected to my laptop with ZERO luck, tried everything, followed their instructions to the t, and still nothing. there are no connections showing in the touchable pro app, the connection icon is just red, the control surface script is installed, what am i doing wrong? should i just ask for a refund? anuone else having these problems? im on a ipad pro 2020 latest OS, windows 10 pro, any suggestions?

  • Having connection issues was why I stopped using touchable, I also own studiimux, but that's also a bit pants due to being connected and staying connected, as the main hang up
    So still comfortable this fence, bad start for a launch that I was excited about, now still not sure

  • i enabled the ipv6 setting and now it is showing up but it keeps saying control surface not responding, wasnt this update supposed to fix all these issues, feel so ripped off.

    Touchable 3, I used a lot, but with Windows 8.1 setting up a direct ad-hoc connection solved the connection problem and slightly improved latency. Touchable Pro I’ve not used quite as much, but hope to as I’ve just upgraded to Live 10. Unfortunately I can’t really test it at the moment as I’m updating my system to Windows 10 and installing a new SSD data drive. At least there’s a good side to lockdown.

  • Keeps saying control surface not responding??? Wont show live version just says 0.0.0, what am I doing wrong? Been trying for over an hour now, hate asking for refunds but I feel like I have no choice

  • For all not getting a connection it’s probably the router problem @MonzoPro mentioned above, it means that the server software will need updating.

    Looks like they’re sticking with the iP6 option.

    I’m going to revisit LK today - tested it yesterday and it connected easily, and had zero latency, so I’ll see if that would tick a few boxes instead. Giving Touchable a miss for now.

  • i just requested a refund... ive tried countless times, and spent hours trying to get it to work. my router wont go ipv6 so im shit outta luck. bummer, this app seemed very cool.

    Same here, sucks tho, was hoping I could get it to work but tried everything even enabling ipv6 didn’t work it showed the connection but still said control surface not responding. Incredible so many issues for such an expensive app

    The app connects via iP6. If your router doesn’t support it you can’t connect in the normal way, although you can create an ad-hoc connection as @knewspeak has suggested, or I guess the USB still works. The dev says his server uses iP6, so won’t be changing the connection method.

    I’ve been totally put off now, so saving my pocket money for the EG sampler instead.

  • FWIW I'm not experiencing any connectivity issues with current server 1.555 both USb and wifi working well for me, although I know how frustrating it is when these things don't work.

    That's odd, so these tests were all on the same router? I guess it might be that if so.

    Very odd as that should at least work with USB connexion, which works even in airplane mode on both iDevice and PC/MAC.

    Scripts are well installed via Touchable icon? Latest iTunes version on PC? Ableton midi setup is well configured like on Zerodebug website?
