Ohhhhh man.... I’m so excited. No beta here but I believe it will be, even if it’s just a little better then atom 1 it will be a phenomenal app.
Only thing that concerns me is that Atom was relatively easy to learn, but this new beast atom 2 looks like it could be, scratch that could be, and put a “will be” a lot more in-depth. I’m sure there’s a few YouTubers and some others, who will help us on that front. Any tutorials or manual/user guide in the works? Or is that something for after release?
🤣🤣🤣 So true.
Does the new Atom have the ability to auto save MIDI at the end of a loop or when stopped? I currently use LK to quickly fire off n bar jams while I am in the zone. Before LK I would use Photon to capture these but having to manually save/export each 8 bar loop for later analysis is a workflow killer.
I’m looking for a MIDI version of the AUM channel audio record option which auto saves the wav file with the date and time in the file name (or some other naming convention) when you stop recording. Having a BlocsWave style MIDI clip auditioning/organisation area would just be icing

My word.
please say piano roll 2 is coming out this week. I’m so so ready to dive into this app
Very Nice...

Ho. Ly. Shit!
No way...
Does this mean I'm now allowed to talk about another one of Atom 2's awesome features??
Don't worry - there's still a number of other secrets yet to be revealed.
Why not?
Better not to do...all of this little teasers make it much more difficult to hold on and be patient 😂🙈
Nah.. we can hold on another 7 months..
Is this the future? Will it work with LP Pro also?
Last I heard Launchpad X and Launchpad Mini mk3 are supported at release.
Further launchpad models will be added after launch.
Might as well, only 35 pages so far, this is nowhere near going full Drambo yet 😁
Great news! What about LaunchControl XL or Launchkey devices. Is there a road map of which controllers will be supported? @blueveek
Thanks for the headsup mate!
Fingers crossed for the pro then!
We're close, depending on when it comes out. 🤣
Launchpad Pro Mk3 and a few other controllers (that I happen to own) have been basically finished since November last year, just not beta tested by someone on the team (because nobody has them). Rolling out support in the near future should be quick, I'm trying to focus on quality vs. quantity for the 2.0 release.
There's a few surprises here with the story around third party extras/controller support and the corresponding roadmap, that I'm dying to share, but saving it for later
We’re already happy with the updates we know if, but you seem to have more up your sleeve!
Can I join the beta? 😂
wake me when it will be out
I’m looking at getting a novation launchpad mini mk3. What are peoples thoughts on that device compared to other options?
Launchpad X costs $50 more and has larger, velocity sensitive pads.
I’d be honored to test atom 2 and put it through its paces on the beta if there is still any room available @blueveek
