When editing a preset, is there a way to show all of the amps at once instead of slowly scrolling through them one by one. is there any way to filter these giant lists to only show things (amps/fx) you already own instead of the bazillion things you could possibly buy?
    Thnx

Only on desktop, I think. Maybe make a feature request?

I wish there were, its a good feature request:

To be able to sort the preset banks into folders

or to be able to have a live list of favorites.

Scrolling through 70 plus banks is tedious.

  • Oh. Well that’s that. Ain’t nobody got time for that.

If you click on an amp for example an then you click on the amp name it will show icons of all the amps.
You can do the same for effects. Also when it view the collections this way there is a drop down menu at
the top of the window that lets you display by category.

Save copies of your favorites into a favorites folder of your making.

Yes. Tap the widget ON THE LEFT next to the "All Categories". It will offer sorting options
with "My Collection" displaying only the modules you own.

TH-U has some rigs emulating Petrucci’s setup “BOGIE JPC2” and “TRIXY” which you may want to check out. There are some demo videos on Youtube. Your guitar, specially the pickups, should be up to the task. And maybe adding an additional IR may improve things.

  • New update with 3 new rigs!

Finally a RIVERA rig, by BHS. I would expect this to be great because BHS seems to specialize in 80s rigs like the BHS Soldano.

Most importantly, the Silverface Bundle from LRS, for the Fender addicts! A 1986 Bandmaster with old tubes, and a 1979 Champ.

    And another Mesa Boogie Rig.

Important to note that the desktop intro prices are 19, 29, 29. This is literally 2-3 bucks more than the iOS rigs, so get these desktop rigs and the iOS for $1.

Also worth mentioning... you must buy a TH-U version for desktop.

Then you can get IOS Rig instances for $1 after buying Desktop instances for $29.00 Incl. VAT ($49.00). Useful for anyone running a studio with all the usual hardware but on this Forum it's not a good strategy.

IOS is great for budget minded hobbyists and we still blow our budgets out of the water with App Acquisition Disorder. Is AAD taken yet? We deserve our own acronym.

I was under the impression that you could just buy one of the bundles that included the rig player no? Like the funk pack or rock or metal which are usually around 80 bucks.

You don’t need to buy the desktop full. You can purchase any of the smaller bundles (funk, rock, metal, 60s pack) which gives you the rig player. Also, the pricing on the website is strange and not as expensive as you say. For example, a new rig is listed at 29 euro, but when I put it on my bin it’s $27.29. There’s literally no reason to not buy it on desktop first and get iOS for $1, just in case. It’s already $27 on iOS. The 60s pack (comes with rig player) is listed as 60 euro but when I add to bin it’s $55.53, so way less than the listed price. A funk pack listed at 79 euro comes out to $83, but these are usually on sale for $59.

It really does make sense to future proof your rig for desktop, but only if you buy the new rigs at the intro prices. Right now they cost the same as iOS.

It should work well now. If I were you I would load the identical IR into thu and iconvolver and a/b them. It should sound the same, if it doesn’t then the th-u cabinet menu filters are changing something.

Yes and they’re usually on sale for $59. Or the 60s pack which currently sits at $56. There’s no logic to the listed price vs the checkout price. But right now the new rigs cost the same on desktop and iOS, just makes no sense not to buy desktop first.

All you have to do is be logged in on desktop and your iOS device, and when you refresh the store page or whatever, it will show as 99 cents.

That’s actually with mentioning here. If you buy a bundle on desktop you get the iOS for $1, so you don’t have to spend the $18 on iOS for the bundle. The main difference with iOS is the rig player comes free. But if you want to use both desktop and iOS, it makes sense to have one bundle on iOS, and then buy rigs you want on desktop at their into price.

    Yes definitely

well i purchased it but it says i have to have thu opened up to activate it on the desktop. and without doing that it is not showing up on my ios as discounted. still 26.99. im logged in on both.. but it appears ill have to buy rock bundle on desktop as well..

Thu desktop is free. Do you have a desktop or laptop you can use? Can you not download the free demo on the Overloud website, and just activate the rig you bought? Yes you have to activate the desktop license for the rig. I don’t think you need a bundle to do that...

Does this not work? You simply download the windows or mac version you need, which actually just downloads the full thu demo. Then you activate the rig license you bought. Then it should instantly say 99 cents on iOS after refreshing the store page.
