  • Thanks @Krupa for reviving this thread. I’ve used Gauss a lot, but I tend to use it the same ways most of the time. Reading through this has reminded me that I’ve never really delved deep into the sequencer, in particular.

No prizes for guessing what I’m off to do now… 🤣

@brambos any chance of this being installable on Mac? I’m probably just being lazy but I’m making loops in Ableton and this would be perfect for adding a bit more of an organic way to get there…

Do you use an iPad with Gauss?

Yeah but I’m making tons of loops for a preset pack and don’t really want to deal with all that file wrangling on the iPad…

Hmm I just found out if you have an iPad connected via Keyboard and Mouse with your Mac you can open Gauss up and click the WAV button to import and drag and drop directly into the file browser that pops up and select the file from there? Makes it semi easier.

Maybe, I’m just hard at the wheel generating stuff in Ableton and wondering if there’s a chance this would ever reach that platform rather than doing workarounds 🙏

Felt the need to provide a workaround in the short term as your question considering how I learned the new trick. Figured it was only fair to share. 🤘🏽🙏🏽

Tbh I might end up doing a load on the couch over the weekend and then just Dropbox or iCloud then over so I can carry on at the desk after that, good to share the tip 🤘🙌👍🙏
