UVI Sparkverb is a winner at 50% off. It’s as good as the Fabfilter reverb but with its own sonic fingerprint. It’s one of those rare reverbs where it’s difficult to make it sound bad.

It’s integrated into UVI Falcon on the desktop and that’s where I was first won over to its charms. The UX/UI is particuarly good.

Edit.. oops I see you corrected yourself already, my mistake.

  • velvet machine is really awesome! reverb/delay magic. you can basically hand-draw the reverb tail which can lead to all kinds of swelling or pulsating or reverse or delay-ish reverbs.

In November 2020 "FabFilter Pro Bundle" was at $68 (43% off). Confirmed price in older thread as below:

    @sclurbs said:
Hey y'all, a few hours ago the bundle price was showing as 68$ but now it's at 89$. What happened?

Anyone know was it first time at $68 or it happened more than once in the past? Usually sale is at $89.99 (-25%) I think. Was it a two-level sale?: $119.99 -> $89.99 -> $67.99 -> $89.99 -> $119.99. Can anyone say more about it? Fingers crossed for the same offer this year.

Ps. AppSliced is a great archive of App price changes (and IAP - after manual mark), but... can we check somehow / somewhere the history of bundles price changes? (I'm afraid not).

I think it was $89.99 on sale last time it dropped. Don’t remember anything lower then that but could be wrong.

No biggie but I believe it is 33% off usually $29.99 now $19.99

Check a few posts back. I already corrected my error after @ervin sniped ref my inability to do math... :)

  • @Poppadocrock, I think @dakti was referring to a thread here last Black Friday where it was mentioned that the FabFilter Pro Bundle was going for $68.

    Here’s the link:

It’s very frustrating that appsliced doesn’t include price changes for bundles…

You’ll hit half a million views by 2022 @Poppadocrock. Envious!

That would be crazy, even though I feel like sales is kind of cheating, lol. And it’s a combined effort.

Yea that’s the only thing it’s missing.

Wow, Synthmaster 2 is a fresh app, 4 months only. Intro price $15, then $25 and now only $8 ? It's crazy  KV331 is very generous, respect! (despite this, all KV331 apps purchased long time ago)

  • edited November 2021

and if you bought presets in synthmaster player, you can unlock them in Synthmaster 2 as well. For me that pushed the # of presets from 300 to 800.

Is there any reason to keep synthmaster player around now? Would it possibly need less resources since it's not a "full" version of the synth? Or is it all the same under the hood, just with no access to controls?

  • Just spent 10 minutes watching videos about Velvet Machine, and then decided to buy it while it's on sale.

Saw "Open" instead of a price, found the app sitting on page 2 of my effects folder.

I loving saving money by shifting purchases into the past.

@gregsmith Yeah IMPULSation has matched it’s lowest price ever. People argue between it and Thafknar, but they each have their advantages. Looks like Thafknar is free now, but requires A $2.99 IAP to get the convolution.

There's probably no real difference but I tend to use iMPULSation for reverb and Thfknar for guitar cabs. Speaking as a licensed Altiverb user on the desktop, the price of both IMPULSation and Thafkner is still a giveaway at full prices! :)

Agreed, no need to get iMPULSation if you have Thafknar already.
I wish the old AltiSpace would ever have become available as an audio unit...

Edit: V2 is here - seems like they've dropped the great envelope function though.

    https://apps.apple.com/en/app/altispace-2/id1580223509

According to the website, ifxrack has ‘2 lush convolution reverbs’. Would that have me convolution-covered?

  • PrestoBand is $13 off down to $1.99 - Reviews don’t seem that great though…

    https://apps.apple.com/us/app/prestoband-guitar-and-piano/id1060386658

  • Is the desktop presets upgrade transferrable to Stpynthmaste4 2, if you purchased it in synthmaster one?

They're not included, you have to purchase them as IAP and I'm not sure if you can use your own IRs.
Convolution reverbs are like samplers: You get what you import (if they even support importing your own IRs, that is). No matter of you want to build your own Velvet Machine, load a guitar cab IR or just have the reverb of your local church on your iPad, all up to you.
Thafknar still offers the best bang for the buck I'd say.

Same question here, I'd like to buy the "All expansions" IAP, but only if it unlocks presets on Player as well. From the description, looks like it is the case, but before investing 42$, I want to be sure. I've written to the developer, hoping in a positive answer!

  • so is there an advantage of player over synthmaster 2? or why would it matter? i keep wondering if theres any reason to keep player around now...
