In my case, two reasons. On one hand, I have a live setup in AUM that runs 10 different Synths and need to keep the DSP utilization low to run them all without glitches. On the other one, Player runs well on an old 10" iPAD I have that is a nice spare wheel when I'm gigging; SM1/2 are simply too demanding for that old piece of crap!
EDIT: Looks like the IAPs price went up again... Now the "All Expansions" lists for 70$!
@Keyb is there a way to save my own presets in synthmaster and load them into synthmaster player? when I press the "add preset" button in synthmaster player, either nothing happens or the app crashes...
It works fine for me, but I do the other way around. I open a preset, modify it and save it
you open a preset in synthmaster 1/2, then save it and then you can use it in synthmaster player?

Actually.. the desktop ‘all’ Soundbanks for desktop are $69. IOS is $40 (I Think) … The desktop soundbanks you can download to the iOS version (for free) but not the other way around.. as reported..
no, the "Synthmaster Expansions Bundle" IAP that unlocks all presets is now 70€, also the "Desktop Presets Upgrade" in the iOS app is now 10€, I think it was still 5€ yesterday.
Same price as the desktop all Sound-bank bundle, today.. Maybe hey will drop by and clarify things today.. pretty sure I say it for like $49 IAP, yesterday..
Edit.. and the soundbanks (individual) are now $4.99 today.. was $2.99 yesterday..

I have absolutely no clue about that...
...the reason I 'speculate' here is because the UI in the video is so close to what we already have in FF Timeless 3 on the iPad that it should in theory just be about replacing the under-the hood DSP stuff and re-compile but I know nada about app-development.
I already have Saturn 2 and Timeless 3 and the others they've released for the iPad.
As for more basic stuff I'd love to see FabFilter One with its creamy filter ported to the iPad
Anyways the stuff in the video will be released on the 18th so by then we'll know if iPad support is included...
I also have every FF plugins on my iPad and barely use any other FX now... even if I have tons of delays, reverbs, etc. Timeless 3 is SO complete for my needs.
I was about to (finally) pick up Mixbox while it's almost gifted, but if Volcano lands here in 2 days (surely around the same price as Mixbox now), buying FX could be (almost 🤪) done for me 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

...if you already have Logic for your Mac it's 'Free' for the iPad and if you don't own a Mac yet and buy Logic for the iPad you'll already have it 'for free' when you get a Mac

TB EQ doesn't have any built-in modulation options unless using external apps and the available EQ's are not 'synth filters'.
I do think they are, just did a little test in Drambo and it works very well, including smooth modulation and automation of parameters
