    1) Can someone help me choose between Bram Perforator or FAC Envolver?. They seem to do similar stuff…

    Not similar at all

Koshiba is the better analog to Perforator. They’re both gate sequencers; Envolver is an envelope follower.

  • Bought so many apps already but the only one i was banking on is TB Morphit, which is oddly not on sale…

Be nice if people would buy this awesome app (IMHO the best iOS DAW in many aspects) so Blip can justify adding audio tracks to it. NS2 only sold 5% of NS1 sales. I don’t get it. 😐

Competition with more relevant features for a lot of people, and some really strange design decisions.
Still a very good groovebox though.

I get the “relevant features” part. Curious what you consider “strange design decisions”. Not to battle over but out of interest in seeing another’s perspective.

Right when AU was exploding as a format, pretty much ignoring it during development in favour of built ins, at the cost of quality AU support and hard tracks, only having one soundware developer when we are in the age of soundware (think Maschine expansions)
I really hope he can sell it off to a big developer, it deserves the few small issues sorting out (that is pure hope on my part, nothing else, no idea what his plans are)

    Gotcha! 😎👍🏼

To all people from Canada. I read that if you buy a 100$ Apple Giftcard on Amazon with the code APPLEDEAL, you will receive a 10$ giftcard for Amazon. I wrote to Amazon customer service and they are not sure what I'm talking about.

Anyone tried the promo? I read this on many website.

I checked on Redflagdeals but didn’t find anything relating to Amazon & Apple.

I don't know if this website is legit or not. But here is what I saw:

    That looks sketch AF

  • fantastic app !

Same here. I have exactly two apps remaining on my “wait for sale” list: TB Morphit, and Drambo. Will probably get Drambo in the next month or so if it doesn’t go on sale, but keep waiting for Morphit.

Just a heads up, TB is not likely to do any sales. Since their apps are already reasonably priced, they’ve previously stated discounts/bundles will be unlikely. I’m paraphrasing, but I wouldn’t count on a tb sale.

I think you’re right. ReelBus and Compressor have had decent price drops, but they don’t seem to really do short-term sales, it’s more like they’re dialing in the price until they get it right, then leave it. It also seems pretty common for them to start low and then raise the price and keep it there.

  • This Black Friday has been so productive(I guess I would need some time after it)

Im on the mood of creating textures, ethereal sounds, pads etc…

    So far I’ve purchased:

    Mononoke
    Ripplemaker
    Tardigrain

Some more recommendations so I can spend all my BF budget?

  • I have a feeling ill be spending a lot of time with Gavinski and his tutorials for the foreseeable future after my spending this week :D

Hehe, I just bought it for the mac after waiting for the sonarworks sale for a long time, then realising when it came that morphit was cheaper and also better for my purposes :)

I didn’t really get the value of morphit, but bought it when I got my AirPods.
If you mix/master your own music, it’s essential. As with all TB apps, it’s excellent value even at full price.

  • If looking for something different but still usable, try Sugar Bytes’ Aparillo. You could probably do the whole soundtrack from the new Dune with just this one synth.

Had a second look at Gauss looper to record from other AUv3 instruments, quite some fun!

  • @Noxal See this post from Pynchon a few pages back. Sliver has been around for a long time and has gotten many nods along the way - https://apps.apple.com/app/id789010140

SynthScaper and SoundScaper also come to mind - https://apps.apple.com/developer/id424401626

If the Apesoft stuff is still on sale, have a look at Stria. And if you haven’t yet got it, Rymdigare is fantastic for this sort of stuff.

  • Pro Remote is now free but with yearly IAPs for individual functions. They are rather low. Full unlock is $21.99 which was the price before the switch.

  • IColorama S - iPhone version is $2 off at $2.99

  • This thread (heck the whole forum) has been a massive help! I’d come across the forum every now and then while googling but this past week I’ve had this thread open at all times. I’m glad to have found such a lovely community :)

I’ve only recently started discovering music making on the iPad and it opened up a whole new world for me, these sales mean a lot to me because I barely have any money to spend but was now able to get a bunch of amazing apps in just a week that would’ve otherwise taken me months to collect. So big shoutout to the devs as well for making this possible!

I’ll probably post something more on topic later but just wanted to share my gratitude :)

I do have a tip that might be useful for any Dutch people here, I found out that you can get Apple Store Gift Cards with Airmiles via ah.nl so that’s definitely worth checking out if you collect them!
