Halloween special at Plugin Alliance - nearly all their plugins can be had for $29.99 - they've split the deal into 3, and are currently on the second which runs till midnight October 31st. Then another will start but I'm not sure what the pricing will be. They've got some great effects and studio rack software - stuff like the Lion synth and Byome, Triad, SpecOps and Silo effects are worth investigating...

    Use code PMPKN2999 at checkout

Code expires October 31 - 11:59 PM PST.

Agreed re: Byome. A steal at $30. Bought it in the last sale and it's a beauty in my opinion.

  • Both Lion and Byome are winners, Unfiltered Audio manage to be adventurous with their designs and still deliver on the quality of the results musically.

Agreed - I'm really liking SpecOps and Silo too - both capable of ludicrous amounts of source mangling, but can be very subtle if you dial things back...

  • This one is kind of interesting, https://soundpaint.com/ looks like something between Spitfire LABS and Kontakt. The engine/player is free with a '28 Steinway piano. The instrument libraries are $20 to $80. Soundpaint is also a spun off of 8DIO, so I'd guess the samples under the hood here will sound nice.

Don’t think so, Plugin Alliance sales (for single plugins) are normally a one-off fee. The mega bundles are monthly though

I see where their landing page confused me. Are you saying everything on that page is $30? Even the plugins which are listed as hundreds of dollars?

PA are like Waves. If you are patient, you never need to spend more than $30 for a plugin.

  • Just tried the code with Triad and it did indeed drop the price to $30. (Plus VAT in the UK). I didn’t complete the Sale though because I have 24 new IKM Plugins to play with before I even think about buying any more!

If you're looking at Triad you can get it in a bundle with Byome (similar effect but more streamlined) for the same price - $29.99 (https://www.plugin-alliance.com/en/products/unfiltered-audio-byome-triad-bundle.html) The last part of the sale starts in a couple of hours - I'll post the code here...👍

The way PA works is that they put an absurd price on a plugin and then run sales with 90% off. So yes you can get even the ones that are listed for hundreds of dollars.

I got this as one of my freebies in the group buy and I think it's really good. IMHO it's worth having if you didn't grab it or didn't bother with the group buy at all...

It's probably worth saving a slot and getting it for free instead :-)

Cinematic percussion is pretty good too. There's a lot of ST4 sets that I really don't care for, but the percussion ones are amongst the better ones.

Yeah, I’ve really slowed down on my decision making, still got most of a 99 tier, and one 199 to pick… wishing that those new tascam tea air ones were included, but I’m also thinking about replacing my ancient little 4 channel mixpad with an eight input four track…

  • @klownshed Thanks for the heads-up, that is one I did not get in my haul.

Thanks for that. Hopefully they will update the demo version from 2.9.9 at some point. That version is not recognised by any of the DAWs on my M1 for some reason so I would like to see if 2.9.10 fixes that before getting the full thing. It looks like they usually do Black Friday sales on the full products as well.

Edit: the player is only $9 at the moment so maybe I’ll get that to check compatibility and take an upgrade offer later on. I read somewhere that you get the player for free if you purchase an expansion pack, can anyone vouch for that? seems to have been a promo offer at some point.

Yes they do have black friday sales, quite good ones. I bought the full bundle used for 70$ though, that was a pretty good deal.

As for M1, I don't have any troubles with that. Are you running your DAW with Rozetta or native?

Interesting, I did try running with Rosetta compatibility enabled but that did not fix it. All the files were installed to the correct places but neither MTS or Logic saw them. Now that I know someone else was able to get it working I’ll try a bit harder to understand where the issue is, thanks.

  • Their Chess, Fame, Stax, and Motown drum collections are fantastic.

  • UVI Relayer is on sale with 60 % off, offer runs through Nov. 8th. Was eyeing this for quite some time and bought it today for $29.48 at AudioDeluxe with the extra bucks I had there from the Falcon sale a few weeks back.

  • UVI Relayer is a really cool delay as it's got the chops without the complexity. The UX is really intuitive and the end results cover the full spectrum of delay related shenanigans, vintage to modern.
