  • SonicCouture.com has started their BF sales with most of their great sample libraries reduced considerably.

Another one where I’m thankfully fully stocked already. Most definitely one of my favourite Kontakt instrument creators. To call Soniccouture mere sample library providers is a vast underestimate of their genius.

I think I will fall for Vital for $60. I am still wondering how I can implement it into my iOS workflow, but this synth plug is amazing. So versatile and great sounding.

They have some deals on hardware.

I might be wrong, but some years you could get discount on Logic via other channels than Apple.

Nice, I’m including Vital in an assessment of possible platforms for wavetable presets right now…

All the Samples From Mars have landed ($39 USD) - https://samplesfrommars.com/products/all-products-from-mars

Good stuff. There is also an upgrade pack on sale for $17 covering the releases from 2021 if you got the full thing this time last year and want to top up your collection:

    https://samplesfrommars.com/collections/biggest-savings/products/2021-from-mars

Good point. If you previously purchased All the Samples From Mars, you should have received an email with a coupon code to "catch up on any releases you might be missing." I bought it back in 2017, so it's high time for me to refill.

I think the only way I’ve heard of Logic Pro on “sale” is by finding discounted Apple gift cards.

  • Apple is giving GiftCards with select purchases.
If I bought a new m1 iPad , would get $140 card, website is telling me

Yep. I recently bought Logic that way, by gradually accumulating discounted Apple/iTunes Gift Cards from eBay. Also, Target and Best Buy currently offer $15 store credit gift cards this week when you buy $100 Apple Gift Cards from them.

Similar in Benelux: in a current promo you get 15% on top of any gift card purchased, starting from the 25EUR one, if you buy from a reseller.

I'm at the point where I'm having to choose between eating and getting more plugins...

  • @NeuM From what I've heard, you can live for 2 weeks with no food. Can you live 2 weeks with no new plugins?

I caved and got Arturia V collection 8 for €199 (£170ish over 4 installments) when they released the 8.2 M1 update. That plus the enormous IK group buy haul will keep me going for years.

    That’s me done.

Happy with the deals though. For roughly the normal BF price for the V collection I got a UNO Synth, almost every app IK make and the V collection. I think I dun ok.

  • I‘m trying out reverbs. I need something simple but good sounding. So after trying out a bunch, I came across this:
    https://www.pluginboutique.com/product/2-Effects/17-Reverb/8016-LX480-Essentials

Pretty sure that’s unbeatable sound vs. price wise.

    Equally good is this:
    https://www.native-instruments.com/de/products/komplete/effects/reverb-classics/

So if you need a good all purpose reverb, check those two out.

  • Stay away from waves, this site is extremely annoying.

I click unsubscribe and the web page never load. + many others things

Stay away, run for your life, even for free plug-in.

This site can’t be reachedwww.waves.com took too long to respond.

My subscriber credit takes it down to $20. That’s a no brainer for sure!

Are you by any chance a student? Or have one on your iCloud account? If so you can get the student bundle for $199, which is logic, MainStage, and Final Cut Pro. Full versions, no restrictions once you are no longer a student.

If not, wait for iTunes gift card sales and grab 2 $100 cards for less- I paid $160 for logic a few years ago with a 20% gift card sale on Black Friday.

LX480 essentials is so tempting, but I have so many reverbs already. I may wind up with it though…

One that is never on sale but always priced well is Valhalla vintage verb. I’ve demoed it a few times and haven’t pulled the trigger yet (but I have Valhalla room which is excellent).

Yes you are right, VVV is also very good and extremely versatile. A lot more options then the LX Essentials but personally I like the sound of the LX a little better.

At some point in the not-too-distant future someone will come out with a Plugin Diet book.
