@DJB In adding patches to a Library, I somehow ended up with a patch having a blank library name. Now I can no longer load or delete the patch.

I was able to update First Contact patch to RY library (it had been blank) but now it won’t load or delete.

UPDATE: Seems to have been fixed by a force quit and reload.

Thanks; we'll update such that it's no longer possible to get into that state.

As for an easier way to change the category or library for a patch: drag and drop might be even faster and more convenient than a drop-down menu. We'll have a stab at that too.

+1 for a drag and dropping patches from one library to another.

That would make it easy to work on patch creating sessions. Make lots of new patches.
Then go back later to pick the best and organize them in custom patch libraries.

Cool…glad it worked , even if a little archaic-wise. I just went to iCloud files and saved under one mother-file, then zipped it and THEN copied/pasted to the comment box…glad it worked…tell me (when/if you get a chance) how you liked the sounds…

Here are 16 FREE ToneFlow Synth patches!…Enjoy and share!…In the app, IMPORT the Zip File from this comment:

  • @DJB is a possible Patchstorage.com Flowtones account in the cards. That would be cool.

  • Just wanted to say how much I enjoy both of your patches @Spidericemidas @richardyot . Always look forward to them.
    Thanks

As far I I can tell, no one has mentioned that the 1.0.9 update now allows us to Import/Export preset banks!!
    Let the Flowtones Soundfest commence!

That's great news! I've got a bank ready to go, I'll get it out ASAP.

Great news, Richard. Thank you for your service. :) Things are going according to plan; eyes are on @Spidericemidas now, so I can finally go and buy this thing complete with both essential preset banks. 👍

Great! I’ve been waiting for the bank sharing facility. Now can purchase this synth very soon, especially if there’s already a @richardyot bank for it and the suggestion of plans for an ABF soundfest. That would be sweet! 😃👍

    Glad to hear it :)

  • Richard YOT, love the patches!…process worked for me, although I don’t like putting a 0 in the price field…one day I hope to have unlimited cash to release for all requests…. Spidericemidas, do you have any shareable patches yet?

Glad you like the patches! And no problem putting zero in the price field - they're meant to be free :)

  • An update just dropped with some nice new additions :)

    • 3 brand new VCO synthesis engines modelled after vintage synths, allowing each individual VCO to use an ideal, enhanced, or one of two vintage oscillator engines!
    • New option to apply subtle VCO and VCF frequency randomization for each key on event for even more authentic analog synth simulation
    • New option to drag and drop programs onto category or library filter to quickly change these entries without typing
    • New option to delete a set of programs with a single button
    • New presets; Flowtones now comes with 400 factory presets with even more presets available in the public domain
    • Improved menu item spacing on mobile platforms for easier navigation
    • New 5 and 10 voice polyphony play modes to reduce maximum complexity/CPU load while playing
    • Fixed an issue that could cause empty library or category names in the program manager
    • New option to mute each individual VCO output to use a VCO for cross modulation only
    • Efficiency and stability improvements

  • Very nice update!

  • @DJB Excellent update!

I might be a bit slow today, but I've hunted through the interface and haven't found how to toggle the following setting:

  • Wow, thank you, great update!

  • Wohaaaa! Thank you very much Toneboosters!!! 🙌🏼

  • @DJB

After updating.. the in-App keyboard now flashes as I play it.. it happens in both the standalone and the AU.

    I have a 5th-Gen 2017 base ipad, running iPadOS 13.7

    Otherwise, really great update! :)

Yes, I was about to report the exact same thing. Any rapid key playing creates the visual glitch.

Could be an iPadOS13.x issue as there no such thing present on iPadOS14 and I'm pretty sure it's fine on iPadOS15 as well.

  • I see it on iOS 14...

Has anyone got this to work? I try dragging User patches in the Library, but I can't drag them. Also tried dragging after long press, nada.

Interesting, so It's a bug that is only present on specific iPad Models...

    I mistakenly put 2011. Should’ve been around 2015.

Also, I think it’s a bit soon to assume this is a rare bug.

Which iPad model do you have? iPad Pro? And which size?
