I am not quite following everything you said. You mention being able to stop other clips of the same color. You can set up an action or gesture so that only one clip of a color plays at a time. The solo action with context set to color does that.
If that’s hard to explain that also means it’s not an easy thing to do. Solo works except a second tap on same loop will make multiple loops playing at the same time. Thanks for your help, I will see if Michael can do something here 🙂
Is it possible to modulate AU effect parameters with an LFO in LP? Or would I need to nest LP within AUM to achieve this?
You can do it from within LP. See
https://wiki.audiob.us/doku.php?id=loopy_pro_midi_map_effect_parameters
And
https://wiki.audiob.us/doku.php?id=loopy_pro_tips_and_tricks
The latter has information about how to get midi from inside LP to the midi control system.
Awesome! Cheers @espiegel123
Why when overdubbing with an effect on, you can't hear your original loop. Once it stops recording , it plays. I can't tell if this is a bug or not. I was using Koala effects.
Also is there a way to put the tempo screen on a midi button to easily reference the master clock when multiplying and dividing?
Can you make a screen recording of your monitoring issue that shows the setup and what happens?
I have a midi pedal with a few buttons that I have set up with Loopy Pro. One button is set to Rec(if blank)/Play/Stop for the top left loop. Can I change the ‘Stop’ function so that, if I’m recording and the loop has a fixed duration of 4 bars, it will stop recording once the loop’s duration is reached?
I (sometimes) want to control whether the loop immediately plays what I record. I could map another button on my pedal to do this, if it is only available as a different command.
Actions let you override the default count-out. You could map tap, hold and double-tap to different actions.
I have a widget on multiple pages mapped to the same midi channel, cc, device, etc, but the values do not update across pages.
Is this expected behavior?
for example, fader 1 here is mapped to the same control on both pages....
Anyone got a working link for Loopy Pro on Discord?

@wim Thanks, I’m in!
When manually binding a donut inside Loopy with Launchpad Pro (not mk) is there any way that the button can remain lit as it would with the Launchpad app?
The Launchpad refuses to autobind, and yes I did write instruction on how to do it, I followed them to the letter no autobind. I even did a full reinstall loosing a number of samples but then I create a new set each time I perform live.
What is the quickest way to get a bunch of audio clips inside a fresh loopy session? Is there a batch way to do it, rather than just import one by one?
Also what would be the quickest way to get a bunch of audio clips out of sessions? Lately, I have been recording sessions and then saving, and going on to a new session. I have a ton of loops.
You can drag an drop a group of selected files from files into Loopy Pro. Load Files in slide over mode. There may be other ways, but that is how I do it.
I have tried this. Works great on the ipad. I was wondering if there were any tricks for iphone.
In Files in your iPhone, select multiple files and tap on the Share icon. Choose Loopy Pro as the destination.
Looking for a way to create a button to trigger recording of multiple loops. Only found single triggers for color groups. I have 8 loops, each it’s own color. Thanks for the kind assistance, as always, @wim, et al!
Currently, there is an issue with triggering recording of multiple loops but when it is fixed:
When you create widgets you can add multiple actions. So , you can add an action for each loop you want to record. You need to also enable simultaneous recording.
You are quickly becoming the hero some of us need!
Good to know. Thanks!
Ha ha! @espiegel123 is the brainiac for Loopy Pro. I just sneak in an answer or two (with about 70% accuracy at this point 😂) when he's off doing something else.
Can control profiles be shared with other users?
If so please does anyone have a Launchpad Pro (not mk version) control profile they could share?
Control profiles are shareable.
Was working on a layout and the orientation got permanently messed up. Not sure what causes this bug. Reopening loopy and restarting iPad had no effect. Thankfully I had a saved copy.
Have you tried turning on Orientation Lock in Loopy Pro’s settings? I think there may be cases where the arrangement can get jumbled when switching between portrait and landscape.
If you experiment on a saved copy to see if you can find steps to reproduce it, that would be useful information.
@looped . Did you mean "orientation" as in portrait vs landscape, or just the ordering of items. It looks like the list of items is completely reversed between your two pics. Difficult to say why, but it looks like a very logical transformation.
Yes, it had no effect in correcting the wrong orientation. I tried different things to reproduce it, and got it to mess it up by turning orientation lock on and off, going in to edit mode and doing some random rotations of the iPad. Eventually, it gets the wrong orientation.
