    Yes, when you add a MIDI Effect, open the channel strip and click on the routing menu at the top. Select/Enable "Print MIDI FX" and it will record the output of the effect to the track during recording.

    You can do this today, just drag and drop vertically in the channel strip view.

    • A proper slice mode icon tool when u re editing a loop or sample inside the timeline. Right now u have to drag the left or right corner length of the sample to mimic a slicer. It s very long. A knife ll be way simpler. ( I know u have a slice mode inside the sampler) but when u working with long sample, it’s better to do it inside the timeline window and slice from there.

    • Will be cool to have a consolidate option , when u working inside timeline and did some chop and cut from a sample, u end up with some blank spot from the editing so if u want to duplicate what u came up with, the only quick way is bounce or do the duplicate for each pieces of sound who stay on the timeline. A consolidate icon after a select all action will be faster for the duplicate action.

    Thanks Matthew for your feedback.

    -I might have not been clear in the first post, i m not talking auv 3 midi fx . I try to record the midi of the koala sampler pads I press to his own track but it didn’t print any midi note , same stuff when I try with another auv3 instrument. The only way is to use the zenbeat keyboard/ pads.
    Question : is it possible to print the midi note of an auv 3 instrument via the interfaces of each auv3 instruments instead of using the zenbeat keyboard/pads ?

    -Regarding the koala sampler window size issue, is it something you are aware about ?

    Ya, I need to access some of those synth settings and controls in the lower half of the app.

    You can only record the midi out from a plugin added as a MIDI FX plugin. Koala doesn't really work in Zenbeats as a MIDI AU plugin, and in any case, you wouldn't get any sound out if loaded that way even if it did work.

    fwiw, Koala seems to work well for me on iPad in Zenbeats when "Use plugin Windows" is enabled in Zenbeats settings.

    Hi Wim,

    Thanks you to answered my questions .

    Here s 2 screenshots of my size windo issue with Koala inside ZB. My settings use plugin window is on btw inside settings.

    The first is when I load Koala first time on a track
    The second is when I close the koala window and open it again .

    My size resolution is on 100% so I,don’t get it why the first time is opening large and the rest of thème I end up with a small window.

    Regarding the midi note recording via the auv3 instruments interface, I find that weird cuz inside Cubasis u can play any interface ( pads or keyboard) of the auv3 instruments loaded and Cubasis record the midi note as is. Don’t need to use the Cubasis keyboard , at least I have the choice.

    Last question:

    Is it possible to record on a audio track the auv3 instrument I play. Seems like even with the proper routing nothing is record when I launch the record session .

    My routing :

    • midi track with Berlin from Korg gadget with audio output set on channel 1 inside the routing settings
    • Audio track with audio in set on channel 1 inside the routing settings
    • Arm the audio track
    • Arm the transport record button
    • Recording engage, try to play something on the midi track , sounds coming on the midi track but nothing is record on the audio .

    What am I doing wrong ?

    I agree, it’s not ideal. That’s the way Zenbeats works though.

    I always get the smaller view in windowed mode, which I don’t mind. Sorry, I don’t have any answers for you. Perhaps @MatthewAtZenbeats will see your questions.

    If you’re referring to what I think you are, those aren’t track routings, they’re audio interface input and output routings. I don’t think there are inter-track audio routings in Zenbeats.

    Sorry if I’m misunderstanding.
