Interestingly Android users are seeing a lot of issues with FLSM that I don’t see on iOS. I wonder if something changed on that platform. 🤔

Since latest update I can’t add instruments, can’t add MidiFX or audio fx… not even Zenbeats own instruments. The instruments/fx list comes up when pressing on “+ instrument” or fx or when replacing, but can’t load anything.
If I load a track template or when starting from a sample template, the instruments/fx load, but can’t replace them.
This is pretty bad… also rescanned all plugins, restarted iPad, nothing…
I’m on 2018 iPad Pro iOS 15.4
Try going to Settings > General > Update Core Content. It should download and update Core Content and then refresh store content. It might help.
Also, I notice presets are messed up. Some don’t have categories so they don’t show up when you use the filters. This may be contributing to the issue.
ZB restarted after being in the background and categories are gone again. Doing Update Core Content again brought them back.

I’m having issues with loading instruments since the last update, I tap to load one and nothing happens, also having issues loading samples from the menu with the drum machine, and since the last major update the time it takes to load and open the app is so much longer.
Double-tap on the pic to the left in the box, or the letters AU
Long-press the sound, choose Change Sound in the menu, and single- tap the new sound you want to use
Same here, and the screen also goes black during startup for some seconds which for me did not happen before.

having all these same issues, plus looooong loading times and strange glitchy UI (see video) @MatthewAtZenbeats is there a beta community? i feel like that would have saved alot of time and trouble if you had beta testers, it kinda seems like you dont as i have inquired about beta testing before and got a generic "you can try it before you buy it" response (not from you)... ive been paying the 2.99 core subscription for a few months before v3 and i know its the lowest subscription but if there was a beta we could have caught all this before everyone just immediately gets pissed off, frustrated at once.... that being said if there is a beta im wondering what the heck happened? and if there isnt one but you want to start one, please consider me for the testflight version. thanks

3.0.2.8987 seems to fix the loading instruments issues
Did a rescan and on quick test midifx seems to work fine
As for the long loading times , my old Air2 seems to load ZB3 fast on iOS 13.latest
Totally fine on Air2 iOS 15.5 too.
I can load instruments and effects now. Yesterday I couldn’t. Haven’t updated anything or done any new scanning,

Hey, not sure if i’m just dense or what but i since the v3 update i can’t figure out how to add a midi effect. The youtube tutorial shows that adding a plugin gives the option to add a midi effect or audio effect bu i only see the audio option

I’m on 8987. Updated yesterday, I don’t have automatic updates on.
I updated to see if the MidiFX was fixed and couldn’t load any instruments, fx… as i said if I loaded a track template or song, the instruments and fx would show up but I couldn’t add them on demand.
And today it seems to be working fine… inexplicable 🤷🏻♂️
Having the same issue with presets and the categories.
When creating a ZC1 instrument for example, browsing the presets they don’t work when choosing a type.
I tried updating the core and they come back but only on the last instrument. Create a new one and the presets don’t show again.
@MatthewAtZenbeats is this a known issue your side also?
I have seen this with certain preset packs in the past but now it’s with everything. If you choose All you should see presets but no indication of what pack they came from or any category.
Also, if you’re not seeing any presets make sure you didn’t tap on the star on the upper right so that it is solid. That will choose only favorited presets and if you haven’t favorited any you will see nothing. I asked them to make Favorites be one of the drop-down choices rather than the star button because I think it’s in a place that’s too easy to hit accidentally.
I don’t recall anyone mentioning this video. A good demo of the new ZB3 sampler.

Tried to download the V3 update on iPad; and it got to like 30% then it said it failed. (Using iPhone hotspot to iPad)
Now the Store icon in Zenbeats is greyed out. Please don’t tell me to reinstall it. I already had all my stuff downloaded. Thanks for your help.
im not sure what version i have, dont understand seems like some people have gotten a second update? i just remember getting 1 update bug fix after v3 was released... i just checked the app store i dont think i have auto updates. how do i check the version? also still really long load times and if i switch over to firefox real quick and switch right back it acts like i just opened the app again and reloads everything and still takes so long @MatthewAtZenbeats do all the updates come through the appstore or do some updates come from settings > general > update core content?
It automatically shows up in the Appstore.
My issue is with the internal Zenbeats Store/MyStuff icon it remains greyed out.
Is there a way to reinstall without having to re-download everything?
You have to tap on the app symbol in the app store and it will say Update instead of Open. This is until the App Store does regular checks for updates and then it will show you the update in your update list as usual. As of writing, the most recent version is 3.0.2.

There have been 2 updates since the original 3.0 release. The second update seems to have caused issues with the presets menus mainly.
Latest build starts up in about 12 sec for me (~300 AU plugins, not much store content, M1 iPad Pro). That puts it in the same range as desktop apps like Logic and Ableton, at least on my Intel MBP. I really like the workflow in this app and hope it continues to develop at this pace. A lot of wagging tongues on message boards (not you folks) have no idea how much work and planning goes into a large-scale software project like this. Anyway, Zenbeats still has room for improvement but is in the running, I think, to be the best Ableton/Logic-like DAW in the iOS space (Loopy Pro and AUM are in different categories in my mind)

Didn’t realize i had ran out of hotspot data😬
Used my wife’s hotspot and the Store icon inside Zenbeats came back up and updated to V3. ♥️👍🏼🤗🙏

I still wait for the remaining bugs to be fixed and start subscription ,and the sampler is locked , couldn't find much info ,especially videos
No measurable difference. I switched back and forth between Wi-Fi and no Wi-Fi a few times
Some notes:
Having issues with sorting of instrument categories in ZC1, after choosing strings for example the list does not populate with available string sounds it just stays grey. Anyone else, or has it already been reported, can’t recall?
