Any story should be questioned, even when a definitive answer cannot be reached, that also goes for the WaPo and NYT.
Just a wild guess, but maybe something related to the congressional hearings and national security.
I just felt the publisher went over the top in an attempt to support a story the Washing Post wasn’t willing to back.
When a major national newspaper refuses to publish your “story,” perhaps there is a good reason why.
I have a totally open mind about all unexplained phenomena, but the reporting on such controversial topics has to be based on rock solid evidence to make it even remotely believable to me.

I think it's only a matter of time before everyone picks this up, but I also believe this isn't the smoking gun yet. By his own admission, this guy hasn't actually seen any craft or occupants but as far as I can tell he knows who has, and that's an excellent start for Congress. I'm not someone who likes to quote Winston Churchill, but I feel:
"Now this is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end. But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning".
That’s why it will end up behind closed doors, in Congress, but if details are in the public domain before then, maybe a evidentiary chain could be followed up on.

I agree, but there seems a little more momentum from insiders and the scientific community this time, to really find out what is going on.

From the reports I’ve seen about this incident, the Alien was terrified, I find that statement a truthful but saddening indictment of humanity, we are truly the freak show.
There was a least 2 aliens.
Wasn’t one of the aliens spotted by several girls in an alleyway, or am I getting mixed up with another case.
That’s the one, and then a policeman found it in the road or something, put it in his hair and took it to the hospital. Then the policeman got sick and died very shortly after.
