  • Is it just me or is the bundle still not available? Unless it’s only the german app store.

  • what files does it support? in chance it works with 96-32 or at least 96-24?

Our audio finalizer app has been given some much needed love and attention resulting in a major face lift and some extra horses under the hood. Our primary aim for this new look has been to make the workflow more fun and intuitive with a clear step by step approach. We've also created a custom iPhone GUI and the app now works as an AUv3 as well as standalone. The result is Grand Finale 2! The new version includes, among other things, a LUFS-meter with reset, a more full-fledged multiband compressor and a bunch of new presets.
Version 1 will be left untouched

However, If you're already a Grand Finale user, project files will be incompatible with the older version of the app. Wracking our brains to solve this potential problem for you our respected customer, we’ve come to the conclusion that the best way to ensure you don’t lose any of your existing work is to let you have and use both versions. That is why Grand Finale 2 is a new separate app instead of a straight upgrade. This way you will keep your existing projects completely unaffected.

Due to some inflexibilities in how App Store lets us operate on prices and rebates, our best option in order to give previous owners the new version for (almost) nothing, is to bundle the two apps. The bundle (containing both Grand Finale versions) will soon be available on the App Store. The price of the bundle will be about the same as if you bought Grand Finale 2 separately. If you already own Grand Finale, the price of version 1 will be deducted from the price of the bundle, so it will become very nearly (if not completely) free.t And for those of you who don’t yet own Grand Finale, a brighter and more colorful future may of course be yours too! Let all your tunes shine with Grand Finale 2!
    Grand Finale 2 will be on intro-sale for $9.99 ($14.99) until 2022-11-18.

This bundle thing it a bit confusing fist of all i already have GF1 which it never work correctly on my iphone device since i got it, because it crashes most of the time and since i got it, it never been updated so it has been another one of a few apps that i waited my money on and i actually work hard for my money, like beatmaker 2 which was another app that i never was able to used since i bought, which to me that represents a scam because why have an app to sell on the app store if is not going to work on my device which apple and the developer should already know that, specially if its not getting updated ever again also that gives the app store and developer a bad reputation as scammers, but anyway let say i want to get GF2 right now even though it already has a bad reputation in my book because of what i already mention, but anyhow let say i get right now will i still get discount because i already have GF1, or do i still got wait for the bundle, to actually get that discount, is the bundle will actually be available or not because right now its 9.99 for a limited time which will be at $15 after, so should i buy it now for 9.99 or wait for the bundle, and what about if don’t buy it right now and the bundle special never comes out, will that mean i will end up having to pay $15 if i actually want to get then ?

    Yes 😉

More seriously: if / when the bundle comes it will be priced at $ 9.99, same as GF2 alone according to Klevgrand. That means whatever you paid for GF1 will be subtracted from that amount. No idea what happens one the intro price ends, presumably the bundle price will be adjusted accordingly. Also no idea when the bundle will come. Since your experience with GF1 has been not so good I’d wait.

There will be a bundle containing both GF1 and GF2, and it will cost the same as either app. And if you already bought GF1, the price will be deducted from the bundle so you get it for free!
The reason for having separate apps is that the project files aren't compatible.
The bundle is still waiting for review at Apple, and I'll let you know when it's out!

    Welcome @daniel_klevgrand

Yea this happens a lot when version 2 of an app is rebuilt from the ground or has new things that Aren’t compatible with the original version so that’s understandable.

Any hint on how long the intro price will be available? I want to buy this but have to wait a little bit for financial reasons. I’m hoping to grab it before that ends. Thanks.

Yay! Well worth the extra £1!

  • So how much is the bundle price if you own the original?

  • A free upgrade for 4€ is interesting :)

So how much is the bundle price if you own the original?

I believe it depends on what you bought the original for. Bundle is showing as £8.99 for me so I guess I must have got the original in a sale. Scratch that, it is showing as free as I was looking at the wrong button!

  • The price you paid for GF1 will be deducted from the price of the bundle. So if you bought GF1 on sale, under $9.99, you will unfortunately have to pay a little for the update. We wish it could be free for every owner of GF1, but this is how it works in Appstore.

  • I get this message “GET” which I assume it’s free, but when I click through it says £8.99?

If it says 'get' it's free.

I was stupid enough to buy GF1 at an intro price when it was initially released so now I have to pay, but I honestly don't need it so I'll pass...

  • Bought the bundle for a buck. Looking forward to putting it on the Cubasis3 master. Thanks @daniel_klevgrand, really appreciate you guys!

Cheers Samu that’s what I thought I don’t want to chance it with the second message so won’t bother for now until it’s sorted as don’t want to pay £8.99!

@daniel_klevgrand Cheers will want until you sort it before getting.

Minor polish needed: the preset electronic needs to be renamed correctly and the manual is still for GF1.

Great app, trying it out as a a channel strip on my master and so far….👌. Snyggt jobbat!
