Very cool
Think their servers have just exploded!
Good look, @Jumpercollins. That's how it should be done with large factory content downloads.
Well done, @Audiomodern!
There a free pack from Electronic Sounds Dean Daughters on the store.![]
Believe Dean got a video later showing it off.

PDF manual - https://d3jxl5cc6pcqb4.cloudfront.net/Manuals/Audiomodern_Loopmix_User_Manual.pdf
Would be nice if I could just download the presets and not the sounds, but that doesn't appear to be an option.
Oh, cool. I just bought a drum bundle of his recently.
looks great
how stable is it?
is it ok as auv3 in Aum?
cpu wise...?!
thnx
hmm. looks great. but anyone else having problems with drag and drop? does not seem to be working here.. (air 4th gen iPadOS 16)
"Requires iPadOS 11 or later."
Nice to see AudioModern supporting older iPads.
Is it multi-out? Would be cool to be able to apply specific fx per line...
Doesn't have drag n drop... Yet
They'll add it, was the first thing I asked for along with multi out, which will also be added
This looks pretty awesome. Just to decide if to get it for iPad or desktop
Looks cool
On their website is says multi out on desktop only, unfortunately
Thank you. The video got me confused, but that must have been desktop.
Please tell me the text on the app is readable
I like their apps, but struggle to read the text as my eyes are getting worse
I think any vid out so far refers only to the desktop version, they're mostly identical tho
$9.99 for the iPad which is more than ok considering the insane amount of factory content that can be downloaded
...are the downloadable / included audio files are easily accessible thru Files.app for mangling with other apps as well?!
(That would sell to to me as I'm kinda allergic to having downloaded content being locked inside specific apps).
I will see if Lady Luck is with me as I suspect there will be plenty of giveaways on this...
Is there pattern chaining or a song mode type affair?
as the manual (also aimed at desktop)
The desktop version looks great, but you can’t test it with your own audio clips!
If I love Egoist, will I like this? €49 is a good price, but not if you can’t test it out first.
Added a sample to the shared sample folder .But it doesn't show up in the shared samples folder in the auv3 in aum, only in standalone. Anyone else?
While there are some passing resemblances to Egoist, this video shows how the workflow is much more flexible and deep and intuitive. You can also do similar things in Loopy Pro as @espiegel123 has shown but, again, the workflow with LoopMix is much more powerful, flexible, and easy. I’m in when it appears for iOS!
For £9.99 this is definitely worth a go. I'm well into sample remixing at the moment, so I'm looking forward to trying Loopmix out.
EDIT: £8.99!
@lukesleepwalker its out already on ipad
Drum and bass heads and glitch artists rejoice - this is insane!
Want to see how ambient artists use it though…
Yeap, same here..
I added samples using the + button on the right hand side of the sample load screen.
That is most likely due to iOS/iPadOS sandboxing...
It can be worked around (requires iOS13+) with something called 'Security Scoped URLs'.
(ie. the developer uses the Security Scoped URLs to access the folder/files from the AUv3).
When using those the AUv3 will get direct access to the same folder visible in the Files.app as the stand-alone app.
(This something that is already in place for a few apps I do beta for).
The only gotcha is that on 'older' iOS/iPadOS versions (ie. <iOS14) the user has on the first AUv3 launch select the apps folder using the document picker (only once as it's a permission) while on newer version this is 'transparent' and the user has to do nothing, it just works.
Cheers!
