  • Can’t download factory presets till the end. Always something missing. Tried numerous times till frustration.
Would be nice to be able to download them individually if some are missing

It would be helpful contact them because I had this problem too, on a whole bunch of sound samples in different presets. It turns out in my case that the samples were not actually missing. I was able to confirm that by searching the sample list and finding them. It happened a couple days ago, and it went away after I messed around just tapping on the missing sample sounds and opening up the presets and sounds in different ways. This only occurred after I added a few additional free packs - not sure if it was related to that or not.

Same here, loopmix and playbeat are crashing

    Which iPad/OS?

    16.5.1

Just tryed again to see if i can replicate problem, and yes still there. Once you load 1 instance of Playbeats and 1 of Loopmix, when you try to get into app it immediately crash both apps

Best to contact most devs via their official channels like website etc. Few devs are active enough here

I just tried an instance of each and went in and out of both apps multiple times without issues over 5 mins or so of jamming. Is it just once instance each?

Ah yes, my bad, so i did 1 instance of each and works normally. But 2 of the same don't. If you have 2 Playbeats or 2 loopmix then they will crash the app. If you try reloading them they'll crash AUM

Ah yeah you’re exactly right. Crashed on me right away. Someone posted earlier in the thread that the devs were aware of the problem (I think) but still worth all of us contacting them so they now the extent of the issues.

  • anyone got any update on a fix on this? or response from the devs? i’m sad cuz i wanna use loopmix 😭 @Audiomodern

I’m glad it at least works with once instance but yes we definitely need a fix. Using 2-3 instances of Loopmix is (was lol) a ton of fun.

  • I’ve never been able to run 2 instances of it since day one.

  • bumping this for any update. would soooo love to rum more than one instance of loopmix without crashing :(

    never heard back from dev.

These are top shelf apps. Sad they can’t get them working on iOS.

Message the developers directly and they might prioritize it.

  • I keep on getting a “ the following audio samples are missing or invalid”..this popup is from the preset banks and packs not user created samples.

    Anyone else having this issue?

    Yes.

Deleted the app and re-installed. Still have the same problem.

  • Ah I wondered if it was just me. Definitely unstable and UI is tiny when hosted as an AU.

I just use little parts of drum or vocal loops and then convert to audio asap.

Yes I deleted and re-installed and the problem persists too.

    Hmmmm.

Im running an iPad Mini 5 and have just updated to IPadOS 17.2..i shall do more research and post any further findings in here.

i‘ve spent quite a few hours over the past week learning the ins and outs of loopmix and in theory it’s an app that i should love, but i find the results very underwhelming. Anyone still use this regularly? Am i missing something?

Perhaps it has the benefit of being an all-in-one solution, but i feel i can getter quicker, more satisfying results by dragging my own loops into a few drambo flexi samplers and putting looperator and effectrix after them.

The content it ships with sounds good, but that also arguably sounds better when not being processed through the various onboard fx :D

Likewise i have spent the last week on a Loopmix deep-dive after purchasing it months ago and only dabbling with it till now.

There’s an awful lot to like about it but some frustrating issues too.The sounds themselves are stellar.Compared to the likes of DrumComputer it just sounds much fuller, warmer and musical although I do like DrumComputer for its own vibe too.

I feel most of the Loopmix frustrations-as documented by many users-are potentially just one decent update away from a truly great app.

Whether this happens or not who knows?

Fingers crossed that AudioModern progress it.

It's funny that I'm reading this now, after struggling with wrong slice positions in my loops and going the exact same route with Flexis in Drambo.
I first thought that Loopmix would make this a straightforward and much more fun process but I'm surprised how quickly I was able to do it with Drambo. Should've known before 😉

Yep :) I spent quite some time learning the how Loopmix worked and I’m glad i did, even if the end result is to know i can confidently reach for Drambo for a quicker and (to my ear) better result

Loopmix is still an interesting plugin and surely will suit some people’s workflow better, just not mine

Agreed, and at least Loopmix works well with the included content.

  • The workflow is kind of clumsy but I do like the results when I go for certain things in mind. I like what it does feeding it a bunch of vocals or percussion stuff. That being said, I still had higher hopes for it. Multiout would be nice, I know I can export stems but I’d still prefer multiout for more preferred routings in AUM for recording

  • I am really late to this app but i grabbed this and freezr for my Father’s Day gift.
What a great combo for glitchy ambient percussion and arps!

    FIXED:
I’ve noticed almost all the audio loops i load into this app are super quiet and the wave forms are almost invisible on the screen 🤣
I even recorded it at a loud volume…

    Anyone else had this?

  • Soundpacks for loopmix are on sale so i made a quick loop with some of the new samples i grabbed. Might have to mix this better and make it into a full song
