Just to resurrect this thread. I know the Circke of Fifths app came out recently. What's your fave?
I’m still partial to Guitar Toolkit. I think this is an area that needs more development and iOS would be a great platform for it.
HarmoGnome - metronome that cycles through chords for a chosen scale. Very useful app for musos who play violin, lap steel, or other continuous pitch instrument.
Modal Buddy and HarmoGnome are new to me. I’ll take a look.
I wonder if Modal Buddy has the modes of melodic minor and harmonic minor too, or just the major scale ones. That's a weakness of a lot of "modal" instructional material.
Tessitura/Tessitura Pro does have the melodic and harmonic minor modes. The UI is a bit funky to navigate though.
