Yup. Are you having trouble with images on appsliced? It’s been weird since yesterday, I haven’t restarted, but closed it, reloaded it, deleted cookies… and the app icons are blank.

  • Yes just the images show as question marks

Baby Piano is free instead of $0.99

I downloaded and it’s definitely meant to be to help younger kids learn piano . Won’t use myself but will be pretty cool though for my almost 4 year old niece with songs she knows . Also no trackers at all.

It also has maybe 30 different instruments. Edited to add that I’m already a piano player but it could possibly help any new player of any age with just seeing what notes are what.

Yea mine is exactly the same, just wanted to see if it was something on my end or their end. Thanks

I was going to share that, but the name threw me off. it was right on my hypothetical line, lol. Glad you did with the little review. Cheers!

....I was asked not to post screenshots because it took up space..

I think you've misunderstood that initial request from P, what he meant (I'm pretty sure 😂) is that when you reply to a message with an image (or video), you should delete that part of the post not to repeat it over and over as we sometimes see when several members reply to the same post and it gets very long because no one deletes. Maybe I'm wrong but...

  • edited August 2023

It’s all good but just fyi I thought this because I hadn’t replied at all and had only posted , ll. Then p had replied with the photo and then replied a second time letting me know , and then I responded saying I went back to delete it so that it wouldn’t show in other peoples replies. It was an unnecessary screen shot from appsliced anyway. In this case just copy pasting avoided the issue so I just meant people could also go look themselves but otherwise I’d copy paste. Wasn’t trying to be snarky when saying that about being asked just was meaning to explain why I was copy pasting it.

Na you are right @Pxlhg and it was just a suggestion to save scrolling space.

@shirbeats you can post any screenshot you feel you need to and I apologize if you got that impression, but that isn’t what I intended.

Like @Pxlhg said when someone posts a screenshot or video, then other people respond to that comment, and it gets Re quoted multiple times, it also reposts the same pic/vid over and over again, which takes up page space. I was only recommending to people that when quoting a post that has a pic/vid to consider deleting the link to the photo or video when that post is repeatedly being quoted. I hope that makes sense, lol.

@shirbeats you can do as like in my book. you've been very helpful with this thread recently and I should’ve thanked you a while ago for not only sharing posts but also providing some additional info about the apps. Cheers!

Edit - I also did not mean it to be directed to anyone in particular, it was a suggestion to everyone, cause it happens every so often. It’s also something I try to remember to do, but sometimes forget.

Edit 2 - My bad @shirbeats I feel bad that you’ve had that impression for the past week when I seriously had no idea what i posted was perceived that way. I promise I was speaking generally and not singling you out, and I apologize if my comments came off that way. I think very highly of you mate, and would never tell anyone they can’t share a screenshot or video.

Also even though I do a lot towards this thread I don’t own it, it’s all of ours, yours too. I do try to keep some loose guidelines, and share a lot but I’ve never thought of it as solely mine.

Edit 3 - Complete side note, lol, this is exactly what I’m talking about when I say how bad text is, as a method of communication. A bigger gap than emojis can fill. They say like 90% of human communication is non verbal, I’d have to look that up, but you loose all kinds subtle cues, and idiosyncrasies that humans perceive and ultimately use to help understand what’s really being said. Dam I’ve been sharing some long posts recently, lol.

  • Yeah I stopped buying the auduokit apps a while back, they just got annoying

The amount of apps I’ve bought and haven’t even used it getting atrocious

See a app sale, yeah that looks good, click on it… oh I already own that lol

Haven’t even used the mooger foogers yet and I’ve already bought a bunch more apps
Might have to try to do a purge soon

ha ha, same with me. Not even opened once. But watched videos about the CV feature.

I have two of them in hardware, and they always get used again, even after years of not using them.

Edit: forgot to add, one of them, the filter, got ‘lost’ after borrowing it to a friend. Two years later I had to buy it again. For certain tasks it is indispensable.

I know the feeling, not about AK in particular but I definitely have some apps I haven’t taken the time to learn and utilize or just forget about. I guess that’s one of those so called good problems, first world problems, lol, but when I remember one I haven’t used I use it. When I see the icon, or it comes up somewhere, I think dam I haven’t used that in awhile and I incorporate it in the next session. There’s some apps I’ve yet to even learn that have been on my device for over a year, good apps too, he said ashamed, lol.

Dang, I forgot all about those. And I bought the bundle. Haven’t even tried them yet.

    thanks for the reminder though!

  • Ultimate Drum Tune is new and apparently $90 off at $9.99

  • Video

Video Motion Reducer is free usually $.99

  • In case you missed it…

GSDSP released GSDSP MMMm - similar to the other app but midi only, and it’s free!

  • @shirbeats i sent you a DM. Apologies and Cheers friend.

Haha I don’t think I have any that I’ve just never touched but I have a lot that I touched once and then moved on to whatever other new app I bought 😂 like you said, I’ll see the app and end up incorporating it into the next session so I rarely delete apps unless I just genuinely don’t want or need it. Or desperately need the space. Also whenever I start a session I usually just pick a random app or or intentionally pick an app I haven’t used in a while so I’d miss them if they were gone I think.

I love Pure Piano and this would be tempting if Pianoteq didn’t also have an upright. More expensive by a margin though.

The Pianoteq Upright is literally a million times more versatile than the Pure Piano upright. But for those sure they don't want to spend the money on entering the Pianoteq ecosystem it is a good buy.

Oh definitely. And at $30 normal price, I’d rather save up the extra $20 and buy the one in Pianoteq. Though I do still love PP for what it can do

It's called hyperbole, and is obviously not literal. Let's just say 'massively better' then, if that is less offensive 🥂

I was only joking. Sorry, thought that would come across.

Lol.... Bloody inflation. This is why I stay away from the UK. I like to remember it as it was a few decades back, when you could get a 10-pack of fags for a quid (am I remembering those 80s prices of my teenage years right?!) and a creme egg for 20p (or was it 15?).

I remember getting both a slush puppy and a packet of hubba bubba for 20p…

A huge, steaming bag of salted hot chips wrapped in newspaper for sixpence.

    This century is rubbish.

Haha, you know what some people can be like here 😂, I guess I erred on the side of caution, but we genuinely do have members who would make that kind of comment
