.Any thoughts on how long the GSDSP plugins will be on sale? I have had Magic Pitch on my list but I want to see what else goes on sale and bide my time if I can. Think they will stay discounted for a few more weeks?
He wouldn’t need to maintain the discussion thread though. That’s fair game to all.
And I feel that he has done more than enough for us to warrant mod status so he could maintain the list.
Even if other users post sales he missed in the discussion, he could add it to the locked thread, and it wouldn’t bloat the discussion thread, since it’s a lax open chat.
It was just an idea I had, thought it was worth considering, but I acknowledge that I have no power or even clout here lol…but it felt too good to not suggest.

We have this discussion here every couple of months (eel free to go back and read the last one). If a topic is becoming a bit too deep, feel free to diverge into a different thread, but for the most part, people in this channel (me included) enjoy the comments and little discussions that happen in between sales reporting.
@EdGG Sorry if unclear, I was responding to another comment, but my personal opinion is that I love the discussion. I had an idea based on someone’s minor complaint. And it would potentially be a more tidy way to do things. But this is my favorite thread by far. Sorry if I didn’t make that clear.

If people just want to know about sales, use appsliced or appraven. You could just check in with either of those once a day or you could set it up that they send you alerts by dev, by app, or whatever. It's hard to imagine how the 2 threads could really be separated, as usually the chat happens organically after an app is mentioned as being on sale.

I am happy with this thread and thanks for all the work @Poppadocrock ! But maybe a way to deal with the nagging about too much discussion besides the dealreporting could be the way they handle the deals-section at the cakewalk forums, where it is a forum-category and each sale gets a thread. Like that if you're just interested in the deal as such, you just read the top post, and otherwise you're free to read on. I suspect, this is not much more work. The dealsnipers can have their cake and the chattery folks can eat it, too

@Poppadocrock Yeah it would have to be its own forum and the way ABF categorizes is not separated clearly enough for this way.
Would be nice if the forum allowed more than 1 pinned thread. One for this thread, maybe a general discussion thread, and one more for announcements and such. I wonder if it’s just not possible with the site was built.
That organic conversation (as long as it doesn’t derail too badly) can be helpful as well. Especially for having opinions on apps and such.

Someone kind ( like @Poppadocrock ) has to spend time posting each sale link. To have another thread someone else would have to create and post in it.

Pianoteq licenses are always for all platforms, right? But the price seems exactly the same as the Modart website, there is no sale at least for me.
Just keep doing your thing! Spreading it over loads of threads would likely annoy people and people would easily miss sales due to not noticing threads, I reckon
