There is some odd pricing happening on the App Store.

Pixaki 4 Pro is $.01 higher at $27.00 - rarely even see an even price like that.

Taplet is $.50 off at $.49 - utilities, never seen a $.49 app on iOS

Game - Break Pile is $.70 off at $.29 - never seen this before

I saw another app for a dollar even. If you look at appsliced even some of their prices are messed up. The decimal is in the wrong place on a few. It shows Pixaki 4 at $.27 but it’s $27.00. Not sure if this is a glitch, an OS thing, or a new shift in pricing for the App Store. Are other people seeing this too.
Here’s the appsliced link. It’s not all of them but you will notice the ones I’m talking about. Weird. I’m seeing $.79, $.49, $.29 apps. Curious what’s going on….

  • Graphic

Resize - Image Resizer is free usually $.99

  • Kalimba Pro is $.50 off at $1.49

    Another odd one.

  • Graphic

Ad Maker for ads and banners is free usually $1.99

Must be. I guess it’s officially in effect. Thanks for sharing that because I saw a couple weird ones yesterday but today there’s a bunch. Good. I’m glad they decided to do it like the other stores, Google Play, Microsoft, etc… well every store in the world really, lol. now there can be a price point besides every dollar. I think it will help the app economy. It allows developers to set more accurate price points, and consumers to pay a more accurate price. For example if you made an app and decide $1.50 is a fair price, you previously only had 2 options, $.99, $1.99, now they can set it more accurately ie. $1.49 instead of $1.99. Maybe $1 wasn’t enough profit for sustainability, but $2 might cause some customers to shy away. This is just one example, but the ability to price apps every $.10 instead of every $1 makes a big difference when you are talking about smaller amounts of money.

    They started a new company?

That's what I read here in one of the threads. They joined some other company/developers and would be releasing some new apps.

So no more ApeSoft? 🥺 Mood is my favorite synth I have (just slightly over BLEASS omega) and I’m planning to get all the others too as I absolutely love the creativity

I have no idea if ApeSoft is going away. I wouldn't make that assumption.

Thankfully they are not allowing price points like "$1.24" or "9.98". ;)

Yea I wouldn’t either. I was going to say something similar so thanks for pointing that out. Unless it was a full on permanent merger, it could be any one of a variety of scenarios. It could be a one off project, or a temporary arrangement, or a project that coincides with their own development. Lots of possibilities.

I love electric, and mood, I definitely recommend those 2 enough. Accordian is cool too.

  • Graphic/productivity

Vector Notes is 1/2 off at $4.99

@NeuM: Maybe it's about "Aqusmatiq Audio" - LINK

Aqusmatiq Audio was born from the fusion of brain cells of Amazing Noises (Maurizio Giri) and apeSoft (Alessandro Petrolati), joined by the invaluable collaboration of Diego Capoccitti.

Aha. I think you've found it.

And it looks they are having a sale on their first product right now. $18.33 (down from $47.49).

And here's their YouTube channel if you want to follow whatever they come up with next: https://www.youtube.com/@aqusmatiq/videos

  • Is iPulsaret worth getting if I have all of their other granular apps?

  • Ivcs3 iaps on sale? Does anyone know usual price?

Can anyone explain the difference between vocal tune pro, real time pitch correction and Vocal Tune Studio,

    From another thread.

@dwrae said: There is no functional difference and they integrate the same.

Vocal Tune PRO is not Vocal Tune Studio. Vocal Tune PRO is a real-time vocal pitch correction effect. > > You can see by its UI, that it does not feature an editor. Vocal Tune Studio is the much more expensive vocal pitch and time editor. Vocal Tune PRO is available inside AEMS at a reduced price compared to the Audio Unit version of Vocal Tune PRO that can be purchased separately on the App Store (and can be used in other apps).

All in-app purchases inside AEMS are presented at the moment you see their functionality. For purchases of improving the app, I am genuinely interested how someone can think that by going into effects, pressing Vocal Tune PRO, seeing the Vocal Tune PRO effect UI and getting presented with the > Vocal Tune PRO purchase dialog would get you Vocal Tune Studio which clearly has its own way to reach and its own try/purchase dialog.

    All Apesoft apps on sale

Anyone know what is the name of the new app company these guys started?

    I found it:

Aqusmatiq Audio, a company founded by three experienced audio software developers and musicians: Maurizio Giri (Amazing Noises), Alessandro Petrolati (apeSoft), and Diego Capoccitti. They have released a VST/AU called Daedalus Delay for $19 for Windows and Mac users.

Looks like @dakti found them just a little bit earlier than you, but that's them.

Only if it’s announced in app description, developer site, developer social, etc…

However appsliced has a sales filter that says ‘ latest, popular, ending ‘ so you can sort the apps on sale by which ones are ending soon. I’m not sure how the come to those conclusions but if you can’t find any hard evidence it might give you some indication. Or by also checking past sales history of an app on appsliced, to try to gauge how long based on past sales, this is a guessing game though.

My iRig HD2 also came with Tonex SE for free, which is normally $149. That plugin is cross-platform so now I have it for iOS and VST3. This is a great deal, friends.

Just as a clarification, it’s cool that TONEX is available on both PC/Mac and iOS, but if I understand correctly the desktop TONEX SE license doesn’t cross over to iOS: you have to buy the iOS version separately.

I reached out to Peter from IK for clarification and have not heard back yet. But I can confirm my Tonex iOS app has 200 gear models after registering the VST3 on desktop, which is consistent with the SE version. So it looks like the SE tone models are available to me both places. I'm not sure why their website isn't more clear about this.

Anything you buy from them on both iOS and desktop are separate purchases. And they require separate registrations through their registration process.

I have TONEX SE on Mac as well and indeed, when I did restore purchases on the iPad version the same tone models are available on my iPad now as well, where previously it was just the free ones.

Hmmm, I have SE on my Mac, but when I hit restore I'm not seeing any new tone models on my iPad...

Jumped on Sparkle, which sounds really interesting. Not sure I need more granular apps, but people rate iDensity highly, don't they?

iDensity is pretty good. It does things other granular apps I own don’t, for example you can record a loop in and then record play head movements as you scrub, so it loops how you’ve scrubbed, including direction. Heading into Arbhar territory?

This may be possible with other granular apps, but AFAIK isn’t on any of the ones I have: Fluss, Quanta, iPulsaret, Tardigrain. That’s the thing with granular synths: they all do something different.

Looks like Dedalus is a port of the Amazing Noises iOS app, or a development of it.
