Sorry, though you were asking about the app itself 🤓
I still haven’t really spent much time with tonex, but there were a lot more amps and cabinets to choose from once I bought SE on Mac.
I'm pasting a screenshot from September 2020 with regular prices. I'm not sure, but they are probably still valid today. The ones marked in red are currently 50% off.
Is the Mega Bank a collection of JEC’s other packs? Cause I got the Megapack only thinking that , and if it’s not the case I’ll get his others later

@dakti
Super helpful, thank you
Do you know if they are universal? Or do you have to buy them again?
Edit: I saw apeMatrix was available for me in Mac after having purchased it on iOS, so I decided to get Mood and iPulsaret. Seems like Mood does require a separate purchase.
I wonder if other apps of theirs would be good to have on my Mac, apefilter would be great if it worked in logic…
From this video it follows that Mega Bank (probably December 2016) was released before Bank A, B (April 2018) and C (October 2018), so Mega Bank rather has different presets than the others. Bank Synth-Explorations (November 2019), Bank Captivity (September 2020).
@EdGG mood + idensity + apefilter were already available on mac appstore. apedelay was universal. now apematrix+sparkle+stria+idensity+ipulsaret+apefilter are universal.
apematrix on mac is 🔥 Ive all apesoft apps on ios+mac and can confirm they work on mac in Ableton + logic
Aside from granularity, iPulsaret is probably the best iOS strings synth.
I need to explore them but apeMatrix is indeed incredible. Other than the ones I mentioned, which ones would you get for actually musical (not just ambient-y) results?
New App on Intro sale until April 9th
Solo Harmony - Ad Lib Harmony with solo vocal - $2.99 will be $4.99
No connectivity, but recording and sharing.
I'm finding this app useful for random starting point suggestions. IMPO a generous amount of modes in base pack. Has Pro and Exotic packs for $5 each.
EDIT: after using it for awhile, I’m finding it constrainingly limited in functionality and can no longer recommend it.
Good to know thanks for the info.

What is granularity (link?).
Where do you find string sounds for iPulsaret? I can only find abstract soundscapes and also the ones I have tried making myself (just got it) are going in that direction
Hi @Pxlhg ,
iPulsaret is primarily a granular synth (so knowing Apesoft apps, mostly for experimental sounds). But I discovered incidentally that you can also create very expressive and natural sounding strings (for a synth). In my opinion amongst the best an iOS synth can do.
Here are attached in zip archive a few presets you can try.
All presets are responsive to mod wheel and the tremolo one is quite interesting because you can modulate the "bowing" with mod wheel.
Cheers
I struggled to load this zip file… the manual referenced the old “connect your iOS device to a laptop/desktop running iTunes”.
Those were the days…
Then it occurred to me to open the zip file and click on the presets themselves. Viola. Those are great strings! Thx.
I also just noticed they updated 4 days ago adding the ability to print your chords as well as save the chord sets. 8 scales, which basically what I use anyway maybe a few more.
Quick question can you randomize one row, without randomizing them all? And is there the ability to move the chords at all? To rearrange the blocks of you want?

Unfortunately, no, you have to randomize all rows. And no on rearranging the chords. I’m most disappointed by that. The more I use this, the more limitations I find. To me, it would be worth if if you could rearrange the chords, but as is it’s a little frustrating to use. And I wish it could just export midi files so I could use it in multiple DAWs.
For all DAW LP owners from Klevgrand: they released the update for this plug-in with a new user interface and new wobble function that simulates wobbling of a real physical vinyl. Go to the App Store, then search for updates and voila. It isn’t a separate app like Grand Finale but an update for the existing DAW LP app.
Yea that’s what I was hoping too, but for a dollar it still seems like it can be useful. Thanks for the feedback.
