That sounds much better 👍, how long did It take?
About an hour total, but in 3 separate sessions 20 minutes each, to return my ears back to neutral 😆
This app looks great! Does anyone have a really good mastering tutorial series they can link to? I already have mixing ones, but mastering always seems like a different discipline.
Maybe a good start?

Also, here to answer any questions.
Thanks very much!
Is eq in trinity is linear phase? Or is there some way to enable/disable this?
No, the EQs in Trinity are minimum-phase.
@SevenSystems
Is FLAC format not supported?
I always get an error message when loading.
I have tried some FLAC files - without success.
The same songs converted to WAV work fine.
@Iskander sorry, FLAC is currently not supported by the library iOS provides to decode audio files.
Currently supported formats are: WAV, MP3, AIFF, MP4, AAC, ALAC (Apple Lossless -- Apple's version of FLAC).
We will probably include this list in the app description next time. 👍
@SevenSystems
It would be great if the last used folder was selected when selecting a song file.
Otherwise you have to go through the folder structure again and again to the destination folder.
Ok. Many thanks!
Noted!
@SevenSystems How and where in trinity does oversampling work? From the manual, I understand that it only works in character mode. Is there no way to specify oversampling for the clipper/limiter? If not, is this implementation planned?
The clipper does not use oversampling. The limiter internally uses oversampling, but I cannot give too many details on its internal algorithms. It is currently not planned to include oversampling for the clipper, but it may be considered for a future Trinity 2, which is definitely a possibility!
I’m politely trying not to wine or sound entitled, I’m just patiently hoping for the iPhone version…..
Help is on the way! 😉

That’s great, but I really need it to run on my Apple Watch.
Just playin’. 😎
Awesome job @SevenSystems
Bought. Looking forward to trying later
@Zerozerozero have fun and drop any questions here.
Regarding the iPhone layout: This is probably not obvious and I'll add a help tip for it in an update: When switching tabs between "Low", "Mid" and "High": This switches between the three compressor band settings, however the two Normalizers (above and below the compressor settings) are global, i.e. the same for all 3 bands. This should be made more obvious. I'm on it!
Nice! so is it a separate purchase for iPhone?
Nope! It's a universal app, so if you've bought it for iPad or Mac, you can install it for free on iPhone!
Very nice, I already loved the cross compatibility on iPad and Mac, this makes it even better! Thank you @SevenSystems !
Trinity for iPhone at last! Brilliant news! Downloaded.
Strange, maybe I have to wait a little bit. Because I bought it on iPad when was released, but on my iphone it says 99sek 🤷🏻♂️
That's a 15 year old bug in the App Store. If you click on the button and confirm all the dialogs, at the very end (!) it'll realize that you've already purchased the app and say it's free. Unbelievable, I know!
Sweet. I had no hope of this ever becoming universal. Regarding the reference track:
Does the reference track by default bypass the mastering chain for quick A/B’ing? Or would I need to manually bypass all the different modules before listening to the reference track?
As promised! 🙂
Yes, the reference track always bypasses the signal chain. That's the main workflow idea -- quickly switching between mastered track and reference by tapping the "Play" buttons (or seeking directly in the waveform).
Damn! haha.. well, thank you for clarifying this for me, and for making this great tool universal. 🙂 🙌🏼
