So I ask this question this synth is for what type of music style ? I would like more review to tell for what style is it good or not.

Well, we don't know, do we, since it isn't released yet. But my guess - it's a synth, so, synthy music.

i just hope it will be proper standard synth (probably west coast style which is great) and not some weirdness made in cooperation with Hainbach

There are hundreds of stiletto n handbag, synth/beatboxes for the disco dancing ladies and gentlemen already. We need MORE 'weirdness' - that's the whole point of making music, for me at least - rather than repeating the same old donkey day in day out.

Yeah same here, bread and butter can get you by, but I live for more interesting food with a bit of spice and flavour…

    +1

There are zillions of normal synths already. We need MOAR WEIRD!! 🙃😜🤪

    Hell yeah we do!!

Now we know what it'll look like! I hope it'll be polyphonic unlike Ripplemaker, but I'll still buy it if I like its sound.

Hilda's lookin hella incredible and fun to play with. I can't wait for the release. A "drone" knob means "instabuy" for me. 🤣 And those thumbprints look interesting. Not sure what those do.

Second synth to be release with finger print, new hype feature ? Nobody know why it will do but 2 synth with finger prints release in May from 2 different dev , it can be evolution in the synth ios world ? I am curious.

Just jumping in here quickly to manage some expectations.

First off; @_ki that's great stuff! All will be revealed in due time :D

Second, I never said it was going to be a Strega, or even like a Strega, so please don't expect it to be a Strega emulation. I think that was merely a guess by this forum. It's very much its own thing B)

    Carry on...

From the noises, it definitely sounds awesome whatever it is

Can’t wait to release it and let you all have a go with it! :)

Bram, when are you going to start porting your software to macOS? Come on, man! :)

When I feel like answering tons of support emails for Ableton and Logic every day and explaining why they won’t be windows/VST/Clap/AAX etc.

    No thanks :D

Why not explaining it once on a web page and refer to it. Make clear that this usage is at your own risk without support. I think most of us are on a desktop/laptop, too. There are just too many shortcomings on iOS for the ambitious musician. TBH iOS DAWs are a joke compared to desktop DAWs. Personally I enjoy very much being in both worlds. I really love doing sound design with a touch UI. Turning knobs, drawing envelopes, etc. But then sharing my patches to the desktop. Working on an arrangement is so much better with a big screen and a DAW with professional features. I would really be happy about seeing your apps on the Mac AppStore 😉

Likewise, but I think he's made his decision. Too bad.

  • Yeah, UI is a work of art... 👍
Not only it’s pretty, but super useful to understand the synth by following the signal flow.
I would say it is mono for sure; the capacitive patch points make like 200% sense on touchscreen.
The only thing I’m missing so far is adjustable curve for slope, but even if it’s not there LP18 easily breaks it even :)

  • Mutation.. Hammerhead’s magic…
    Nice..

Hoping for MPE with magic Bram Bos touch. Tho polphony would be grand.

  • Only seeing an iPad vs an iPad and an iPhone doesn’t give me me much hope it’ll be IOS universal. This would’ve been an insta-buy for me too !

  • My number one request will be (for an unreleased synth lol) is adding seq as selectable shape on LFO. Most of us will play it from external midi source anyway, and having a seq as mod source is always tempting :)
Btw it looks like it’s going to be available as an FX too.

I believe it’s a way to facilitate interactive “semi-modular” like connections between modules kinda like a Make Noise synth I won’t name 😂

I kinda know what you mean. I love Bram Bos apps and I love Hainbach but I didn't bother with Fluss and never got to grips with Gauss. I fully admit that this is my problem, not the apps in question.
My heart tells me to buy the more experimental stuff like Esoteric Synth, iVCS3, ID700, Fundamental, Virtual ANS3 etc... My brain just says no!
Hoping this is not too taxing and is usable in a conventional synth way.

I prefer unconventional but I’ll be buying either way as I’m sure it’ll be great. We already have so many “normal” synths on iOS, so I get way more excited about the weird stuff.

Gauss is one of my all time favorite apps. Anything Hainbach touches I’ll probably love. Just because his musical style aligns with mine pretty heavily.

If it wasn't for innovators like Brambos and his ilk before him, we'd still be listening to skiffle n broomsticks.

Agreed. We have a metric sh*t tone of conventional iOS synth apps. Gimme the weirdness.

Yes, and Hainbach has access to so many strange sonic apparatus. It might not be everyone’s flavor but it’s unique and different.

  • Me too not willing to buy an other VA synth , waiting for far more. My last buy was Fluss and very happy to have a unique sound not VA.

Agreed. His channel is fantastic. And I’ve loved every app he’s had a hand in.

Sorry, but you missed that he the thread title cleverly didn't state the year. It's actually May 2025.
