  • I think we need to define “shortly” and have consequences for using it causally.
Predicting the shipment of apps is a risky proposition… so, don’t do it people.

Let the vendor announce real facts.

  • I'm not understanding the new thread concept; is this thread closed?

It seems that the thread was copied to the new category and the old thread closed. Clicking on the old thread takes you to the new thread though. So, it gets confusing.

There's actually only one open thread though.

  • Sorry for any confusion, @BerlinFx suggested that this thread was in the wrong category to begin with, although it was probably started before we introduced the “Other” category.
I tended to agree with him.
This entire thread definitely now belongs in “Other” so I moved it😊
I too wish this thread would move forward with some more information.
However, as far as I can tell @AliAhmet didn’t make the OP, it was a copy and paste from his FB Group, am I right or did I miss something?

Moved and closed? I'm getting a "closed" icon on this thread.

EDIT: OK, there seems to be 2 versions of this thread. One is maked "Moved" and that is the one marked "Closed".

I am now in the "closed" one and I can still add a comment. Interesting...

EDIT: ...and the comment appears in both threads.

I think when you click on the closed thread you are redirected to the moved one. These posts aren't happening in both.

I don't think you get what I said. When you click on the closed thread you're redirected to the moved thread. You're never "in" the closed thread when posting or reading.

Last post from me on that pointless subject. 😂

    You are probably right.

    Thanks for the reply.

Can I ask where this is from? I'm fascinated by the absolutely hideous background image and terrible type. What kind of hellish social network looks like this?

I assume it’s Facebook. I see posts that look like this all the time on there, and they’re always horrific. It’s like posting with that background and that font is the ultimate tell.

So it’s the Facebook equivalent of posting those YouTube thumbnails with the creator making constipated o-face grimaces?

It's the Mr Beast technic. He is one of the most popular Youtuber ever so a lot of people are copying him. It's a conundrum why it's working.

    EDIT

  • My prediction: Hohner

  • Hasbro making an AUv3 version of Bop It!

  • So, what is ‘shortly’? It’s been a while since…

When I say ‘see you shortly’ I usually mean later that day 😂

Don't worry - it is just part of the "simulation" we are supposedly living in.

  • so i got some more info on this app, and without giving too much away, i can tell you it does many things!!

    1. stuff and things with sound
    2. runs as an app on either ipad or iphone
    3. you can use your fingers to touch things within the app
    4. you can take screenshots of the app and share it with friends and family via social media
    5. you can get the app on the apple app store.
    6. there are graphics that are used within the app and act as a GUI
    7. you can long click on the app icon and rearrange it and your other apps you dont use into folders
    8. you can whine about it on forums such as "audiobus forum"
    9. its possible to delete the app after installation (total gamechanger if you ask me)
    10. when using the app, you can lock your screen, and use the black screen as a mirror or light reflector.

all in all, its a very promising app, and i cant wait for you not in the know peasants to get your hands on it

This thread will probably also finally convince you that people really do click on ads 😂

LOL, It was not really an 'add' but more like a 'misleading statement' without any real value :sunglasses:

  • Well that can be said about many adds

  • @pedro said:
Well that can be said about many adds

Most adds still have a brand-stamp and some clues as to what kind of product or service the add is for ;)
At least where that is required by law to avoid misleading the customer...

    Or the wrong simulated universe.

i mentioned when the thread was around 5 pages or so, that if we dedicated as much time to listening to each others shared songs on here, it would be a different world.
