    In drambo please as module🙏🙏🙏

I'm not a Drambo expert, curious about what this will enable more than loading Dagger as AUv3 in Drambo.

You could then create your own effect setup in dRambo and have that loaded in AUM or any host as an auv3…

Lack of automatable params is a clear downside if you don't use Drambo as host though.

Edit: my personal preference, since I use Drambo exclusively, is for these to be additional Analog Filter module models, mainly because of more flexible voice allocation. I'm just pointing out the downsides of Drambo synths and effects when using a different host.

    Good point

Just for the sake of the argument, you can modulate Dagger in almost any AUv3 host on the platform. You don’t need Drambo for that at all. Of course, use Drambo because this is the way! 😎

Proper audio rate modulation, no need to open the shell to map/change parameters etc.

Guys, would you be interested in Dagger filters as AUv3 (filter + lfo + env follower)?

Yes, please! Especially if the filter includes drive.

Is it just me or is LFO rate not parameter exposed?

I see it and works for me, it's called Freq

Damn! This synth is too good B)

  • @giku_beepstreet it looks like the envelope is retriggering when Dagger receives channel pressure messages, only when monophonic mode is enabled. Do you think you can take a look?

  • I was searching for preset packs and found this 7 year old video

I had no idea this was so "old"

I imagine it had to be completely rewritten for iPadOS.

Looks like in chord mode velocity doesnt work. There is no response to amount, either all notes on or off. Is it ok?

    From Giku:

'It works. One thing: as the rest is monophonic only velocity of first note matters.'

How do you test it? Just checked again and it works. btw. Remember that amp and filter are monophonic, they share the same gate input, so only velocity of first note matters.

  • Oh I see, thanks. My bad

  • I have a problem with Dagger and Rozeta LFO in AUM. I have tried to modulate Dagger with Rozeta LFO but Dagger doesn’t regonize anything. I have tried every cc. Every other app works just fine. I think that I have to map something differently or does someone know if there are something else related?

As far as I can tell, Dagger doesn’t implement parameter control via MIDI CC. You would need to map the Rozeta LFO CC output to the AUv3 param in Dagger you want to control. Which host app are you using?

I think either this is human error or you maybe need to reinstall Dagger - I just tried sending midi CC from Rozeta lfos to Dagger with zero problem. 2 things to check: did you, in AUM, remember to set Rozeta LFO as midi source? I think you probably did. I would say the likely problem is the second option: that maybe you didn’t notice that Rozeta LFO seems to need the host transport turned on in order to work (strange, it might be the only LFO app that needs that? Not sure, I never really I use it as midiLFOs is so much more advanced as an LFO).
