I love it. It’s impossible for me to recognise just how awful it is as it goes through the nostalgia filter in my brain 🤷♂️😎🍻
Absolute pop classic. Better than I remembered actually!
How could anyone not like Olivia Newton-John? Impossible.
Does anyone know the approximate release date for this?
Dropping Weds 12pm GMT. According to the dev.
Just in time for pay day. Nice.
One more sleep...
(and really hoping that articulation panel = MPE)
Doesn't look like it is MPE , the screen shot for bend mode in articulation panel, shows two options, all notes or last note, and so not what I thought/hoped which was per note.
I'm not spending the 14.99 only to find it isn't, just because I have no use for it in that case.
But if anyone can confirm that would be great,, @thesoundtestroom ?
18€ in Portugal. I know I just sound poor, but I’m not really in a rush to get this or no input mixer. Sure they sound lovely and there was a time I would have jumped at this. But now I think I’ll hold for black friday. Not dissiing but in practical terms, minus the UI and the time to build it, I can’t see anything else I can’t do with Drambo already
Also, btw... Although noinput mixer is great, as @Carnbot pointed out in another thread, you can definitely make your own No Input Mixer in AUM.
I love physical modeling, curious about this, I'm not on the beta. No mpe is definitely a pity if it's the case.

Giveaway for any 4Pockets app here on Twitter
Twitter isn’t working for me right now unfortunately. Or maybe fortunately lol
You’re in luck maybe, cos I also just put one up on Insta!

@Bruques I just checked with Paul and it does not support MPE
How strange. Near the top of the screen it says “StringLab 4Pockets.com” but down further on the page it says the seller is “Limelight Software”…

Yet, or…
gotcha, thanks for checking, much appreciated!
it's an amazing physical modeling synth, and i think clearly needed,
but, i would say is also begging to be mpe, and just personally, i just don't use any synths that aren't, i have most of the ones that are, - just missing a couple (volt, yonac)
annoyingly, back to sculpture then, for now
maybe one day in the not too distant future there will be a powerful highly editable polyphonic mpe physical modeling synth that is AUv3
There’s always room for more competition. Maybe a developer like @chowdsp will consider taking a shot at a modeled instrument at some point. They’re still quite experimental, so I think it would be right up his alley.
Yes, noticed that too, weird
That would be great. @Bruques I agree, it's always disappointing to see a physical modeling synth that is not mpe.
Still waiting for something like Plasmonic on iOS. I have a feeling that dev doesn't sell many copies of the desktop one, he doesn't seem very marketing savvy tbh. I think it could be well worth his while to port to ios and charge maybe 30 bucks a pop. Don't think it would eat into his desktop sales much at this point. Might try - again - to suggest that to him.
Still need to get a proper okay with String Lab. If it can do properly experimental stuff, is flexible and is fast to dial in, it will be worth grabbing even if lacking mpe.
Yeah I agree with all of that. Plasmonic would be so good to have on iPad.
At this stage I'd be more likely to bet on Virsyn adding a physical modeling IAP for Tera Pro before anyone else addresses this. I wouldn't be mad if Laplace or String Lab got MPE though.
Great idea @VirSyn, what do you think?
Bought it but totally agree that it absolutely needs MPE. It's all about stringed instruments so that means bending strings etc
And that’s one of the big selling points of GeoShred, which is also a modeled instruments app.
Totally, nothing beats geoshred or swam for expressiveness in those areas. Well, maybe if enough people write to Paul requesting it, he will add mpe compatibility.
Someone please let me know whether I can change the pitch bend range to 12 so that I can play slide/glide in Linnstrument. Even if full MPE not available at least PBR change can make it sound more realistic (or experimental) string instrument. It will be instant buy.
** I can see little pitch bend button on bottom left. Just not aure whether it will allow sliding if I play with Linnstrument
Should do. It's been a while since I played a non mpe synth via linnstrument, but linnstrument x movement is traditional pitchbend the difference only being whether it's master channel or all/"member" channels,,, I think? I'm pretty sure when I was playing AAS Lounge Lizard and some other stuff not MPE indeed x axis linnstrumenting bent them all, so you just had to set it to one channel,,, maybe?
Thats what my guess too. It will be great if someone can test that with Geoshred or Velocikeyboard app and confirm this hypothesis..
